How To Apply Blush
Piya bought Colorbar’s blusher in Trace Gold but she says she does not know how to apply a blusher. I was doing nuffin much today so thought I’d do a quick tutorial on ” How to Apply Blush”. 
Hope you find it useful.

- Suck your cheeks in and make a fish face. :)

- While your cheeks are sucked in, feel the bone on the side of your face (going towards the temple) either with the brush handle or your fingers. That’s exactly where the blush should be applied-on the bone going towards your temples and lifted upwards.

- Swirl some blush on your blush brush

- Now apply the blush on the bone going upwards towards the temple. Start from almost middle of your eyes and go towards the hairline

- This step is optional if you want to highlight. This is The Body Shop’s Cheek and Lip stain in #2. It has golden/ copper shimmer in it.

- Just right where your blush is appiled dot 2-3 dots on top of your cheekbone near the eye

- Now blend it with your finger with the same technique. Going upwards and blending a little with your blush

- See ,see I am blushing and shining. :P Easy!
Note: All images can be enlarged for better view.
Dust some blush on your nose, chin and forehead as well. This would give a very natural look. If you don’t have a cheek stain, you can also use a powder highlighter such as Trace Gold from Colorbar. I am not carrying it with me these days so used the cheek stain, instead. Use powder highlighter with a blush brush only.
You can increase or decrease the intensity of the blush colour depending on your likability. I applied it quite intensely for the tutorial sake. You can go round and round with blush or just up and down. Just try it out and see what works best for you.
Where to use highlighter?
You can use highter on all the high areas of your face- nose bridge , cupid’s bow, above arches of your eyebrows and top of your cheeks. I don’t use highlighter on my nose bridge becasue I already have a tall nose and highlighting it more makes it look extra tall. So if you wanto make your nose look taller, you know what to do.
Also, after you have applied lipstick, dab some highlight colour (golden,silvers, coppers etc.) in the middle of your upper and lower lips with your ring finger . Then apply gloss. This would give a nice shine and great lip wear for your evening parties/ night outs.
