I am a girl who loves long hair. For long, healthy hair, we need to follow some good haircare routine. Oiling is the most important step when it comes to haircare. During winters, we all need nourishing hair oil treatments to avoid the dryness and breakage. So today I am going to share some easy DIY hair oils which can make hair long and healthy.

5 Easy DIY Hair Oil Concoctions for Long and Healthy Hair

1. Amla and Coconut Oil:
Amla (Indian gooseberry) makes hair strong and it is great for hair growth. It also works as an anti-dandruff ingredient. It can deal with various hair problems like dull, rough hair, dry scalp, hair loss, split ends. And coconut oil makes hair soft and smooth.

Ingredients:
• 3-4 fresh amla
• 1 cup coconut oil

Procedure:
Cut the amla into small pieces. Pour the coconut oil in a pan and boil for 1-2 minutes; then add the chopped amla. Keep the mixture boiling until the amla turns into brown color. Then strain this oil and store it in a bottle. Apply this regularly on the entire hair.

2. Vitamin C with Coconut Oil:
Vitamin C mixed with coconut oil results into a magic oil. It also protects hair from split ends and makes hair soft from root to tip. It reduces hair fall. Vitamin C fights against dandruff and makes scalp clear without makes it dry.

Ingredients:
• 2 Vitamin C tabs
• 1 cup coconut oil

Procedure:
Soak the 2 vitamin C tablets in warm coconut oil. When the tablets melt, mix the oil properly and apply the oil on your hair. Or make dust of vitamin C tablets and add that to warm coconut oil.

3. Garlic, Coconut Oil and Castor Oil:
Garlic fights against germs and infection. It promotes hair growth and controls hair fall. It actually helps to promote blood circulation of scalp and keep it healthy. It keeps hair dandruff free and fresh. Coconut and castor oils make hair strong and control brakeage. Castor oil is full of anti-oxidants.

Ingredients:
• 6-7 cloves of garlic
• ½ cup coconut oil
• 2 tablespoons castor oil

Procedure:
Fry the finely chopped garlic in coconut oil for 10 minutes. After it cools down, add castor oil. Strain this oil and use it concentrating on scalp. Keep this overnight.

4. Lemon, Almond Oil and Aloe Vera:
Lemon is full of Vitamin C which keeps scalp dandruff free and clear. It also makes hair oil free and promotes hair growth. Almond oil is a great ingredient to make hair soft and smooth. It helps to reduce hair fall. Aloe Vera controls frizz and makes hair manageable. This hair oil provides a beautiful shine to dull hair.

Ingredients:
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• ½ cup almond oil
• 1 tablespoon aloe vera juice

Procedure:
Mix all the ingredients nicely. Apply this oil from the root to tip of your hair. Keep this for 30 minutes and then wash with shampoo.

5. Argan Oil with Onion Juice:
Argan oil makes hair extremely soft and manageable. It keeps hair tangle free for the whole, long day and reduces hair fall. It acts as a conditioning hair oil which keeps hair shiny. With onion juice, it promotes hair growth and reduce hair fall. Onion juice works like a medicine to promote hair growth and it also makes scalp clear.

Ingredients:
• ½ cup argan oil
• 2 tablespoons onion juice (for this, blend 4 onions or grate and squeeze the juice out)

Procedure:
Mix ½ cup of argan oil with onion juice and mix well. Or you can fry the onion in argan oil and leave the onion in the oil for overnight. Separate the oil from the fried onion the next day and apply that oil. Wash hair nicely to remove the smell of onion.
