Always, remember to choose a hexane free Evening primrose oil. You can take it orally or apply it directly onto your skin. 2. Apple Cider Vinegar:

Apple cider vinegar has loads of antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Malic and lactic acids are found in the vinegar are known to soften and exfoliate your skin and hence, can treat your acne effectively. The baking soda face mask is an excellent homemade remedy as it has mild antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties which aid in the prevention of acne. Acne is caused by the build-up of dirt and oil which then gets infected on the skin. Baking soda helps in the absorption of oil which helps in preventing the clogging of pores. To use this mask, you need to mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of plain water. Add the water gradually as you want to make a creamy paste and not liquidy. Apply this paste all over your clean face and massage in gentle circular motions for about 10 minutes. Once the mask dries, you can rinse off with warm water. Follow-up with a toner and a moisturiser. Limit the usage of this mask to 2 times a week to see the best results.

4. Honey:

Acne can be treated using an ingredient that is very easily available in your home. All you need is some honey! You need to gently rub the honey onto your problematic areas for a few minutes. The warmth of your hands will help soften the honey while you gently rub it into your skin. Leave the honey on your skin for about 15 minutes, then gently rinse off. This remedy can be used daily. We all know that honey is one of the most popular and effective remedies for acne. 5. Green Tea and Honey Mask:

For this mask, soak one or two green tea bags in hot water, once steeped for few minutes, remove the bags in a separate bowl and cut the bags to take the tea leaves separately. Mix one tablespoon of honey in these tea leaves and mix them well to make a fine paste. Massage this paste onto your cleansed face for a few minutes and leave it on for about 20 minutes and you can them wash off with warm water. Follow up with a toner and moisturiser then after. This mask can be used once a week for best results.
