Aloe vera is known as a magical plant.  Its beneficial to body when taken internally or when applied topically.  When taken internally, it acts on many ailments.  Topically, its good for eyes, lips, skin, etc.  Regular use of natural aloe vera on the skin gives radiant and glowing skin free of all skin problems.  Aloe vera is a natural and excellent moisturizer which hydrates and softens skin.  It reduces inflammation of skin and soothes cuts, burns.  Aloe vera has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.  Aloe gel rejuvenates and refreshes skin.  It also acts on blemishes, acne, and freckles.  Aloe vera is widely used in skin care products for its benefits.  Its used in hair oils to help with hair growth.  Aloe vera is rich in vitamins, vitamins, and minerals.  Its easy to grow aloe vera in your home because it does not need much maintenance and grows through all climates.  Listing out 5 easy homemade aloe vera face packs.

1.  Aloe Vera Face Pack for Glowing Skin:

Ingredients Needed:

  • Aloe vera gel.
  • Honey.
  • Turmeric.

Method:

Make a paste with pinch of turmeric and honey. Add the aloe vera gel in to that paste. Mix it well. Apply the paste on to the face, neck and hand. Keep it for 20 minutes. Then wash it off with lukewarm water.  You will notice glowing skin, use it once in a week.

2.  Homemade Aloe Vera Anti Blemish Serum:

  • Aloe vera gel.
  • Lemon.

Method:

After cutting the thorns from the sides of aloe vera leaves, grind it in a mixer.  Take juice out of 2 lemons (if you have sensitive skin take less lemon, more lemon will burn if you put it on your face) and mix it with the aloe paste.  Sift this liquid.  This liquid can be stored in the refrigerator for a week.  Use it daily, keep on thoroughly cleansed face for 15 minutes and rinse off.  Regular use will give you glowing skin.  This face pack removes tan and brightens skin tone.

3.  Multani Mitti and Aloe Vera Face Pack:

  • Multani mitti (Fuller’s Earth).
  • Aloe vera gel.
  • Honey.
  • Lemon.

This is a good face pack for oily skin.  Regular use of this face pack, once a week, that is, will give you clear skin.

Method:

Mix aloe vera gel in Multani mitti.  Add in honey and lemon juice.  You can add in the ingredients as required, remember to squeeze just about half a lemon, not more than that.

4.  Aloe Vera and Tomato Face Pack:

This face pack removes tan from the face and body and keeps the skin hydrated and moisturized.

Ingredients Needed:

  • Masoor daal powder (easily available in markets, but you can substitute freshly-made paste of soaked masoor daal too).
  • Fresh aloe vera gel.
  • Raw tomatoes.
  • Ginger paste.

Method:

Take the aloe vera leaf and peel out the upper green layer, remove thorns from the sides.  Gently scrape out the gel from the leaf using a knife.  Add this gel to the masoor daal powder.  Take a bit of ginger paste and squeeze out the juice into the pack.  Take half a raw tomato and grate out the pulp into the pack.  Mix everything together well.  Apply this pack on to the face in gentle circular motion over the face and body. Keep for 10 to 15 minutes and wash off with cold water. You will get squeaky clean feel! For dry skin, mix a few drops of coconut oil with a bit of milk and rub this mixture all over the wet skin after you wash off this pack. Keep for 5 minutes and wash off.

5.  Aloe Vera and Cucumber Face Pack:

  • Aloe vera gel.
  • Cucumber paste.
  • Yogurt.
  • Honey.

Method:

Mix freshly prepared aloe vera gel with fresh cucumber paste or juice.  Mix yogurt and honey into this in a quantity that is required to make a small batch.  Apply this mixture on to cleansed face and keep on for half hour and rinse off.  Regular use will clear off tan and give you bright and problem-free glowing skin.

Anchal, aloe vera is easily available everywhere, can be grown easily in pots, as neha said, its called Grithkumari……

I heard tht it attracts dirt hence should not be grown in house. M nt sure.
and den I live in a small sharing apartment. Not possible to plant it here.

Monika, its always best to get natural one, even in apartments, it will grown in medium sized pots
