5 Homemade Papaya Face Packs

As I have mentioned previously, papaya is a wonder fruit for me, it shows instant results on the face, not only for me, but for a majority of others too.  Papaya is a wonder fruit which is rich in vitamin A, C, antioxidants, nutrients, and contains the enzyme papain.  This enzyme acts as a great natural exfoliator by dissolving the proteins in the dead skin cells.  Since it has abundant antioxidants, it takes care of the damage done by free radicals.  You would instantly see the exfoliating effects on skin with papaya face packs.  Make these quick face packs with papaya to get rid of dull, tired, and lifeless skin to get skin that’s bright, smooth, and soft.  Here are 5 such homemade packs made from papaya:

1.  Papaya and Honey Face Pack:

Honey face pack

Honey contains moisturizing properties and while papaya gently exfoliates the skin, honey provides the much-needed moisturization. Take a few cubes of ripe papaya and mash them well with a spoon, add in 1 tbsp of honey and mix well.  Apply on the face and neck and rinse off after 20 minutes to get smooth and soft skin.

2.  Papaya and Yogurt Face Pack:

Yogurt contains zinc, vitamin B, protein, yeast, and it helps in good blood circulation.  Together with papaya, it will give you soft, radiant, and supple skin.  To make this face pack, take a few cubes of ripe papaya, mash well, and add in 1 tbsp of yogurt.  Mix well and apply on the face and neck, and rinse off after 20 minutes.

3.  Papaya, Avocado and Banana Face Pack:

A nourishing face pack combining the goodness of avocado, banana and papaya fruits. Take all the fruits in equal quantity, mash them well into a paste.  Add in honey if you want, otherwise skip it.  Apply on the face and neck and rinse off after 20 minutes for soft and smooth skin.

4.  Papaya, Aloe Vera and Cucumber Face Pack:

Papaya face pack

A soothing and brightening face pack that combines the lightening properties of papaya and cucumber and aloe vera provides the adequate moisturization.  Take a few cubes of papaya and take a few slices of cucumber, blend them well into a smooth paste.  Mix in fresh aloe vera gel and apply it on the face and neck and rinse off after 20 minutes.  Use this face pack regularly for wonderful and healthy skin.

5.  Papaya and Turmeric Face Pack:

This face pack removes tan and brightens complexion.  To make this face pack, mash a few cubes of ripe papaya and add in 1 tbsp of cosmetic turmeric and 1 tbsp of honey.  Apply on the face and neck and rinse off after 20 minutes for glowing skin.
