1. Master the smokey eye:

You will need just a few products, to achieve the easiest smokey eyes. Roughly line your upper lash line with kohl, and blend using a brush. Take 2 co-ordinating eye shadow colours. Use the lighter of your two eye shadow colours to bring it from the lash line to the top of the socket. Next, bring the darker eye shadow colour up from the kohl line. Blend them really well, to create a gradient look in upward motion. In the end, add kohl underneath your lower lash line and blend. Finish with mascara.

2. Classic red pout:

For bold red lips, apply primer or concealer on your lips to keep the colour from smudging. Line your lips with red pencil and fill in your lips with it, to keep it from bleeding or smearing outside your lips. In the end, apply red lipstick. If you do any mistake then use a cotton swab to correct any!

3. Gold on your lids:

Golden eye shadow colour, is the perfect festive colour, to add in the bling factor. For the most basic and fuss free look, prep and prime your lids. Apply a soft first layer of the gold eye shadow on the lid. Apply a second layer of gold eye shadow if necessary. Gently, apply some brown eye shadow in the crease to add some definition to your eyes. Complete the look with black eye liner and a lot of mascara.

4. Basic contouring:

You might not be an expert in contouring, but festive time is the best time for some experimentation, so you can start with this basic one! Prep your face using foundation-concealer routine. Now apply bronzer, that is 2 shades darker than your skin tone, above both your eyes close to your hairline, and on your cheeks from the top of your ear down towards the corner of your mouth. Blend it in upward strokes. Now apply finishing powder to keep the contour from smudging with a sheer setting powder.

5. Cat eye look:

This is one of the most sought after eye makeup looks. Start by lining your upper lash line. Then, touch your eyelid with your finger where you feel the line of bone at the outer corner of your eye, draw a small dot with your eyeliner. This marks the outer tip of your cat’s eye. Starting at this dot, draw the eyeliner towards your lash line, making the line thicker as you draw.

6. Festive dewy skin:

Your skin needs to be properly moisturized and primer. You can use an illuminating primer or a foundation, for that natural looking glowing skin. The way to achieve perfect looking glowing and luminous skin is, by using a highlighter. Dab some highlighter on cheekbones, brow bone, down the bridge of the nose and on the Cupid’s bow. Remember to use it sparingly and blend really well.
