6 Dating Rules We All Should Be Following

Hi ladies,
All relationships are different and we all have our own set rules which work for us. Same goes for the dating world. There are unspoken rules that you should follow.

1. Be upfront

When two people start dating, it is not necessary that they want same things from each other. One person might be looking for companion but other person might be looking for a casual hook-up. So be upfront about your expectations to avoid any clashes afterwards.

2. Be yourself

Don’t pretend to eat healthy when you’d rather be munching on a delicious bite of pizza! Be yourself with the other person. Be pleasant but don’t try to please anybody. This goes a long way while nurturing and maintaining relationships.

3. Keep an air of mystery

Women love to share mundane details of their lives with the other person. Remember he is not your girl best friend! He is your date and not even your boyfriend yet, so keep an air of mystery around you. Do not reveal all in the first date itself. If you think there is something that can’t wait and you need to get it off your chest then by all means do it but don’t reveal everything about you in one go.

4. Say “thank you”

Do not think that just because you are on a date, he is supposed to do all the nice things for you. He is not obligated to do anything. He will do it just because he might have genuine feelings for you. So don’t forget to acknowledge him for the little gestures that he shows throughout your date.

5. Stop pulling the busy card all the time

If he calls you and you disconnect by saying that you are busy all the time, and if he asks you out on a date and you refuse by saying that you are busy then I don’t think there is going to be any date ever! Yes it is completely ok to not be available all the time; men like a bit of a chase but too much of it and they think you are not interested!

6. Don’t go with a baggage

Yes we all have baggage of some sorts. You probably have had a terrible past relationship but now you are on a date with this new guy but all you are doing now is comparing his every move to your ex’s. This is no way to go and it will not lead you anywhere positive. It is ok to be a bit cautious but overanalyzing everything won’t do you any good.
