How you all doing? Hope everyone had a fulfilled Valentines day. We spent some time with family in the morning and then had a date night at a nice restaurant. I gifted a classic Calvin Klein perfume to my husband, which he loved and in return I got some flowers and a promises to go shopping after delivery. As now days it gets very tiring for me to do shopping for hours 🙁 . Anyways, I am will take my gift later for sure. Coming to today’s review I am going to review an oil free eye makeup remover, which I bought in USA mainly for my false lashes. As I read that to increase the life of my false lashes it is good to use oil free makeup remover. I searched for oil free makeup removers online and finally bought this one.

My Experience with Almay Oil Free Gentle Eye Makeup Remover:

Till now I have used Maybelline and L’Oreal eye makeup removers and I was satisfied with both of them. Then when I decided to start using flash lashes, I read that if oil-free makeup remover is used then the life of false lashes increases. The makeup remover from Almay has water like consistency, feels very light when used. For removing just a washable mascara or liner it works fine without irritating the eyes. But, if you are wearing long wearing, waterproof eye makeup then this remover fails to remove all traces of makeup. As you can see in the pictures after rubbing through the area for multiple times, also some traces of my waterproof mascara and gel liner are still left behind. So, it actually failed for me as an efficient makeup remover.

It comes in transparent plastic bottle, and white plastic cap. Packaging is really simple and easy to use. The makeup remover is transparent in color and as the usage suggests one should shake it well before using. If it is used without shaking then it gives a strong spirit kind of smell, which is a big turn off.

In totality, it’s not the eye makeup remover for girls who wears long lasting water proof makeup as it cannot remove them completely. Girls who have very sensitive eyes and wears very less eye makeup might like this one. Not a must have makeup remover for me.
