Aloe Moisture Mask: Do It Yourself

Hello Ladies,

Here is DIY of Aloe Moisture Mask For Dry/Brittle/Damaged Hair.

What You Will Need:

• 1 Aloe Leaf.
• 1 Tbsp of Yogurt (Full Fat).
• Honey.
• Olive Oil or any other oil of your choice (optional).

Method of Preparation:

1. Take a thick aloe leaf and slice it to uncover the gel part inside as shown in the picture.

2. Scoop out and collect the gel.

3. Blend the gel to get a liquid consistency which will be easier to use.

4. Take some of the prepared Aloe gel, Yogurt, Honey and Olive Oil (optional since all other ingredients are very moisturizing) and mix.

5. You will get a conditioner like consistency which will be very easy to spread throughout the hair. It gets absorbed in hair and there is no nasty smell.

6. Keep for 20-30 minutes. Wash off with mild shampoo. No need to condition, get smooth and silky hair.

Aloe vera is known to work wonders in promoting shine and moisture in hair, and preventing hair loss and dandruff.  Yogurt contains natural milk protein that is good for hair. The protein helps in strengthening hair without making it dull or dry. The lactic acid and zinc also stimulate blood circulation which in turn aids hair growth.  Honey is a humectant (which means that it helps to retain moisture) and an emollient (meaning that it softens and smoothes), which “naturally” makes it a great conditioner and moisturizer. It is also rich in vitamins and minerals, so using it in your hair care routine can leave your tresses looking shinier, feeling softer, and in an overall more healthy condition.
