Ambika Pillai Liquid Eyeliner Review
Hello everyone.. 
Today I am reviewing Ambika pillai’s liquid eyeliner which i bought from fashionandyou.com.
Colour: Black.
Price: it was a set of both mascara and liquid eyeliner.set’s price was 628/- i don’t know the individual prices.
Net wt: 8 ml.

I bought this liquid eyeliner cum mascara set very long ago(almost a year ago) from fashion and you while they were having a sale.I’ve used it in many of my tutorials.
Packaging: It comes in a simple long glossy black tube.Wand is long with a thick brush tip which is neither too stiff nor too flimsy.It is perfect and helps to form a nice even line without
Consistency and finish: The consistency of the liquid liner is neither runny nor thick.It is somewhere in between and dries down to a flat matte finish.No gloss or shine whatsoever.You don’t get the darkest colour in one swipe.You need to apply 2 coats minimum.
Swatch:
Staying power: I have oily lids and it stays for about 2-3 hrs on me and then it starts to itch and flakes off. I hate it for that! I don’t know if the itching is due to some ingredient which I may be allergic to or may be it has some ingredient which causes such irritation in general for everyone.I am not sure.But this product loses its points majorly for flaking off.
Not waterproof/resistant: This is not waterproof and water resistant.So if you have watery eyes this is definitely not for you.
After nearly 2 months the consistency of the liquid changes to a thick,clumpy and gross mess! And it becomes so difficult to create even lines.See the wand..
Pros:
• Gives a matte finish.This is a pro for those who like such finish.
• Decently pigmented.
• Brush is very well constructed.
• They do not test on animals.
• Partial proceeds benefit Indian charities.
Cons:
• Poor staying power.
• Flakes off after a while.
• Irritates eyelids and also eyes when it accidently goes in to them.
• Is not waterproof/resistant.
• Texture goes really messy and gross within nearly 2 months.
IMBB rating: 2.5/5
Would I recommend this? Hell no! you better donate that money directly to some charity instead.

Hey Sireesha…eVen I have this..but it stays on my eyes all day….I wear it daily to office and I never had any problem with this…It is not water proof and comes off without creating any mess is kinda thing I really like about it…

ohk.. kimi…me tell u somthing…bhabhi n I got lotus gel creme around 2 -3 months back… i toh love it a lot..i bought its 2nd jar too last 2 weeks back…
d same gel creme reacted badly on her…her face was fully covered with rashes….. so she thot its bad/contaminated/spoil….
i tried d same jar and it worked well on me….
so i think siri is right tht she might b allergic to som of it ingredient

Nupur, i guess you are right…
because i bought the Lotus gel creme without paying much heed to the ingredient list… but it broke me out badly… i then checked the list :silly: and found out it has wheat germ oil… and i am allegrgic to it…. :yikes:
So sheersha, maybe you are allergic to some ingredient
Calii….I think may it was defective batch or maybe Sireesha is allergic to something in the ingredients list………………
yeah..may be…coz I really love this eyeliner and it somehow hurt me to see a bad review of this!!

Most of the liquid liner becomes this grossy but I had never expected this from such a well known eyeliner, its damn costly!
