Anatomicals Hawaii Five Glow Tropical Hydrating Face Mask Review

I recently got a huge crush on the brand Anatomicals because the stuff from them looked exactly my type – quirky, bright and colourful! I love using little sachets of face masks because they are so easy to use and I get to try more variety as well. So, here is my review on a creamy mask from this brand 🙂

How about experiencing a holiday in Hawaii? Take a trip to the island with this five glow face mask loaded with coconut oil and coconut water, cocoa seed butter, papaya, pineapple, aloe and soybean xtract. This application leaves your skin- radiant, repaired and moisturized.

How To Use the sheet mask:

• Open packet and apply evenly on a clean face.
• Leave it on for 10-15 minutes.
• It will leave a very pleasant feeling of freshness.
• After 15 minutes, it has dried and becomes like a tight layer on your skin.
• You can then wash it down with lukewarm normal water.

My Experience with Anatomicals Hawaii Five Glow Tropical Hydrating Face Mask:

Packaging: This face mask comes in a bright sunny yellow packaging with bold fonts. I love the way they mention the description, it attracts women like me 😛 The sachet is pretty small. It can be easily carried along during travels for instant pampering. I just had to tear open the cover and apply it, pretty easy! I thought I could use it just once, but I could use it like twice or thrice, so that’s really good, right? But once opened, it cannot be stored for long since the pack might dry up.

Consistency, Fragrance/Feel on Skin:  This mask is pure white in color and looks exactly like fresh cream of coconut. The consistency is heavy yet super creamy and buttery and hence glides on my face like a dream! It is just so smooth. I apply a thick layer and leave it on for 20 minutes before I rinse it out. It smells very heavenly, like fresh creamy coconuts along with a juicy blend of tropical fruits. It smells just like a pin-a-colada drink, creamy and milky! It does definitely transfer me to a Hawaiian island where I would just sit, relax and pamper my skin.

This mask does feel a bit heavy, so there are chances that it might break-out oily skin, but it worked fine for me. It caused a slight tingling sensation initially, but then, did not irritate my skin at all. I kept it on for 20 minutes and then rinsed off with cold water.

Results: My skin felt really refreshed the moment I rinsed it off. It looks brighter and healthier, but the effect lasted just for a day. It imparted a subtle glow to my face which looked very natural and made my skin look healthy, but it wasn’t the glow they claimed about. But the next day, the glow was a bit more. The best part definitely was the hydration, it surely lived up to that claim. It gave a boost of hydration to my dull skin and my skin felt soft and supple 3-4 days. So, not a wonder mask, but you should get it if you have dry skin and want instant hydration!

Pros of Anatomicals Hawaii Five Glow Tropical Hydrating Face Mask:

• Quirky packaging, damn cute description, easy to use and carry.
• Can be used twice.
• The mask is a creamy paste which glides like a dream on my face.
• Thick layer to moisturise the skin.
• It does not irritate my skin.
• It smells of fresh creamy coconuts and juicy pineapples, and transfers me to Hawaii.
• The scent is very pleasant and calming.
• Leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh.
• Gives a subtle glow and a boost of hydration to my skin, which lasts for a couple of days.

Cons of Anatomicals Hawaii Five Glow Tropical Hydrating Face Mask:

• Expensive for 1-2 times use.
• Does not work wonders.
• Gives subtle glow and not something as claimed.
• Limited availability in India.
• Might break-out very oily skin due to heavy consistency.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Anatomicals Hawaii Five Glow Tropical Hydrating Face Mask?
I wouldn’t get it again because this is not an essential one for my skin-type, but people with dry skin, do try this one, you will like it!

Conclusion:
I loved how this mask pampered my skin and I felt refreshed for that time, but the results were average!
