Ardency Inn Black Modster Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliner Review, Swatches, EOTD

Like every other desi girl, I am huge fan of kohl rimmed eyes. Recently I picked up a few shades from the Ardency Inn Modster Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliner range. This review will be on the shade ‘Black’.

Product Description:
About the product:
A creamy, waterproof eyeliner supercharged with pure pigments.

What it does:
The soft and creamy formula of MODSTER Eyeliner glides on effortlessly, allows enough time for blending, then sets to a long-lasting finish that won’t budge. The formula is soft enough to glide-on easily yet firm enough to draw thin, precise lines. The pigment level has been maxed out to achieve a color payoff that is second to none.

Price:
$19 each. I got mine in a set of 3 for $29.

My Experience with Ardency Inn Black Modster Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliner:

Packaging:
Comes in a simple and easy to use pencil format with a secure cap attached to it. I found this pencil easy to sharpen, and the tip does not break on me during that process.

Texture:
This eyeliner is so smooth and creamy and has that gel-like feel as it glides like butter. It applies with just as ease on the waterline as it does on the lid. It does set quickly, hence you have to work very quickly to smudge it. But once set, it is budge proof. It is also claimed to be waterproof. I haven’t tested it as far as going in the water when I have this on is concerned, but it stayed put when I washed the hand swatch multiple times.

Shade & Pigmentation:
The shade ‘Black’ is a matte jet black. There is no shimmer and it gives beautiful definition to the eyes when rimmed. It has good pigmentation and applies fully opaque with 1-2 swipes. This eyeliner does not give me cloudy vision like some of the Lancome eyeliners do.

Staying Power:
On my waterline, it stays for good 4-5 hours before starting to fade slowly. I can still see good definition of color on my eyes by 6 hours. It does not bleed nor gives me raccoon eyes ever. On my oily eyelid, it stayed for a good 7 hours before starting to fade. You need an eye makeup remover to remove it completely by the end of the day.

Overall:

I love these eyeliners. I just started using these sometime after I was asked about my favorite kajal for IMBB beauty panel, and if I was asked that question now, these eyeliners might just make the cut too. Bonus point is that these eyeliners come in a variety of colorful shades. I highly recommend them.

In the EOTD, used the eyeliner in Black on the waterline and the shade Coffee (review coming soon) on the lid.
