Aroma Magic Aloe Vera Cold Cream Review

Aroma Magic Aloe Vera Cold Cream Review

Winters are the time when I am in constant search for body lotions, moisturizers and cold creams. I have a very bad habit of getting all these lotions in excess. I just can not resist myself whenever I see any affordable and nice moisturiser or cold cream. I spotted this Aloe Vera cold cream from Aroma Magic at a local store and I got it immediately. I thought it might prove to be a good cold cream for my hands, arms and legs.

My experience with this product:

Aroma magic Aloe vera cold cream comes in the standard white tub packaging of Aroma Magic products with a red screw cap. It is travel friendly and spill proof. The cold cream is white in color and has thick consistency. It has nice, soothing fragrance of aloe vera which lingers on the skin for about 1-2 hours.

I apply it after sometimes after washing my face. Generally, I use it for my hands, legs and arms. I apply it on my hands several times a day and twice on my legs and arms. The skin of my hands get extremely dry and stretchy and I have tried several drug store lotions on my hands but didn’t get satisfactory results. I was highly disappointed because of this problem but this cold cream from Aroma magic solved my problem. It moisturizes my hands very well and my hands remain moisturized for 2-3 hours. My arms and legs remain moisturized for 4-5 hours.

This cold cream blends very easily on my skin. The amount required is appropriate and isn’t excess at all. It is extremely moisturising and moisturizes the driest parts of my body. I apply it less on my face because I think it might cause acne on my acne prone skin. Though it blends easily, I have experienced greasiness on my hands for a minute or two after applying it. This is another reason because of which I apply it less on my face.

    1. you are most welcome parita di 🙂 i have extremely dry skin on my hands and its working well for me, so it might work very nicely for ur frnd 🙂

      1. Hi Surbhi,
From my Experience with Aromamagic, I can tell u that this cream wont break out on ur face. Aromamagic products r herbal based & u can apply it to ur face leaving aside all worries. I hv used their Almond Nourishing & Vitamin E Nourishing creams. They never gave me acne or pimples.
In fact that is d reason I use Aromamagic, coz I hv sensitive & combination/dry skin with acne. So I need a non – comedogenic cream for winters & this is just right.

The little greasiness is to let u massage it well for a min or 2 & it goes away after that, leaving a subtle nice sheen to the face.

    1. you are most welcome nupur 🙂 i like their products too.. they always turn out to be gud. the packaging is kind of boring.. 😛

  1. leaving ponds i have never tried any other cold cream, i would like to go for this one this time and see how it works for me :-), thanks for sharing surabhi.

  2. Hi Surbhi,
Thanx 4 such a gud review. I hv been looking for a gud aloe vera cold cream & since this is so cheap, m definitely going to try it. I was using Ayur cold cream with Aloe Vera 4 d last 10 yrs, but since d last 2 winters, it has started giving me big pimples!!! I dont know y. Probably they changed d composition.

I totally trust Aromamagic products, they r all gud. I hv used their other creams & my cousins also hv used their products. Everyone is all gaga…abt Aromamagic! 🙂

  3. Well coming back to my own comment after an yr & after trying out this cream this winters!
I got an yr old pack & my cream was a little more thicker & tight than what u hv got.
It is a nice cream, but I felt it just sat on my skin. As long as it was on my face, my skin was moisturised, but d moment I wd wash my face, it wd feel dry again.
Secondly, it gave me a few acnes & pimples! Yes, so I m not going to buy it again.
Aromamagic Almond cream & Vit E cream were much better cold creams. I m yet to try their AM Dew cream.
