Aroma Magic Fairy Oil Review

Aroma Magic Fairy Oil

By Debarati Ghosh

Hi IMBB ladies..

This is my first ever post to IMBB. So I am super excited. Love you all. Today I am going to review Blossom Kochhar’s Aroma Magic Fairy Oil for acne and pimples. It is blended skin oil from their various essential and blended oil range. I have oily and acne prone skin so I thought to buy some essential oils to cure my problem but ended up buying a safe blended and diluted oil form Aroma Magic (as some essential oils are harmful if proper proportion of dilution is not maintained.)

Aroma MagicFairy Oil

Price- 220 INR

Net content– 15 ml

Self life– 2 years

What company says about it:

The antibacterial essential oils help to prevent acne, pimples, and balance sebum level. It also helps to reduce pustules, inflammation and blackheads.

Direction to use: Apply a few drops of oil on a clean face 2 to 3 times a day.

Active ingredients: Pure essential oils of Rosemary, Patchouli, Juniper Berry, Peppermint and Lavender.

Important note: There is a leaflet inside the pack providing the list of their whole range of blended oils. But there I saw the ingredient list for this same blended oil is different. They are as follows-

Pure essential oils of Juniper, Witch Hazel, Spearmint, Thyme, and Tea tree.

I don’t know which one is original and why they differ from one another..

Packaging: Personally I don’t like their regular white bottle with red cap. But for this tiny glass bottle, this packaging is perfect. It comes in a dark brown colored glass bottle with a red cap. The product is further secured by another cap to control the amount of the oil coming out. The packaging dispenses the right amount of product, 1-2 drops of oil, which is enough for one time usage. Packaging seems to be travel friendly.

Smell: Though it is enriched with essential oils, its aroma is not so pleasant to me. But once you apply it on face, the smell disappears.

My take on Aroma Magic Fairy Oil:

First of all, this oil is not going to make you “fairy”. Not fair too. But it controls oiliness to a great extent. It is a very very light weight oil, almost water like. It is absorbed by the skin as soon as it is applied and does not leave any oiliness or sticky layer on skin.

I don’t have severe acne as I maintain a good skincare regime, so I can’t say much about its effectiveness on severe acne prone skin. All I can say is that it does reduces and cures acne to some extent. Sometimes I use it directly on face after cleansing, mainly at night and then I apply my regular moisturizer over it to wake up with a soft skin the next morning. I also mix 2 drops of it with my face packs. It adds glow to my face. I don’t use this oil during day time if I am stepping out in the sun.

Aroma Magic Fairy Oil

Pros of Aroma Magic Fairy Oil:

• Blend of pure essential oils which is easily absorbed by the skin.
• Adds glow to my face
• Cures acne pimple to some extent
• Reduce sebum secretion
• Tiny bottle runs long
• Widely available
• Not tested on animals

Cons of Aroma Magic Fairy Oil:

• Expensive for a 15 ml bottle plus in diluted form
• No full list of ingredients. Only actives are mentioned
• Confusion arises about the true ingredients. pack says one list but the leaflet another
• I don’t like the smell.

Overall I am happy with the result of Aroma Magic fairy oil. Oily skin beauties may try it once.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

  1. I mix this with my moisturiser, and it is weird and wonderful how it controls breakouts and even oiliness! I do wear it during the day, underneath a sunscreen of course.

No fairy-like transformation for me either, but I’m still waiting. 😉
