My friend  gifted me Blossom Kochhar’s Aroma Magic Grapefruit face wash and I have been using it for almost 5 months now. Guess, it’s time to do the review. :)

What I love about Aroma Magic Grape Fruit face wash?

  • It cleanses my skin thoroughly.
  • It does not leave any moisturizing cast behind after I wash my face.
  • Has all the nicey-goody aromatherapy stuff.
  • Smells okay, nothing great but nothing unpleasant.
  • It leaves my skin soft.
  • It is soap free.
  • Comes with a flip top cap so you can travel with it.
  • :inlove: with the price and quantity.
  • Although I don’t have a problem of big pores but after washing my face with this face wash, I notice that my pores looks even smaller and it gives a very even look to the skin.

Blossom kochhar aroma magic

There is only one thing that I don’t like about this face wash is that my skin feels a little dry after a minute or two of washing my face. But nothing that a moisturizer cannot take care of. I personally think that it would work very well for people who have combination to oily skin. The tube says that it is for all skin types, so every once in a while I would love to come back to this facewash. As it is I love Aroma Magic products. :)

Nithi, you must try they ani tan pack from Lotus ( http://makeupandbeauty.com/biotique-lip-balm-lotus-safe-sun-anti-tan-gel-review/ ) and from what all you have mentioned I guess you need to check dermatologist for sure. The skin changes could be because of hormonal imbalance or some other issue as well.

I have used this face wash and I exactly had the same experience and I absolutely agree with your opinion in the concluding paragraph of this review.Your skin feels dry(not too dry but dry nevertheless) immediately after using this facewash and that it is more suitable for people with oily to combination skin.I have used the Aromamagic turmeric cleanser too.Its in a cream form and I liked it better than this face wash but for regular cleansing purpose I like cleansers in a liquid form.I find them more convenient to use.On the whole,
Aromamagic products are nice.

That’s a good summary. :))

Yeah, me likes aroma magic products as well. :)

Hi Rati,
I forgot to add one thing in my comment. I noticed one typographical error in the above review and thought of letting you know.I think you mistakenly quoted the quantity(The price I suppose is correct) of the face wash as 10 ml(It must be 120 ml or something else). Its very trivial but just thought of bringing to your notice.

I have this too… & I love the smell. Wakes me up early in the morning. I have a thing for citrusy smells so I guess that is why it appeals to me :)

It smells okay to me but nothing appealing. :)

The face wash is nice and I can pick it up anytime without having any second thoughts. :)

HI Tanisha,

I have been using Lotus Sunscreens for years. Love them. You my read reviews under Lotus herbals catergory. :)

Tanisha September 19, 2010 at 8:41 pm

did you try the citrus rain from lakme which one is better BK or lakme.I was recomended by a skin specialist to us the GRAPE FACE WASH and CUCUMBER sunscreen from BK.But i thaught to take your advise since you are using BK for a long time and i like you reviews.I did use SPF 30 from lotus and another of SPF 45-50 but it makes my skin oily .Confused

Hi Tanisha,

Here are the reviews on Lakme face washes : http://makeupandbeauty.com/lakme-fruit-blast-face-washes-review-indian-makeup-blog/

I have never used the BK sunscreens, infact have not even heard good reviews about them.

If you looking for more herbal option, may be you should go for BK face wash. It is soap free. I don’t think Lakme one is but a lot of people are loving it.

Regarding sunscreens, may be you could look for neutrogena.

Hey,
I used this for a couple of months but I didnt really like it. I have combination skin, it always left my skin dry and was a little tough to take off. It says soap free but I always felt after washing my face thats there’s some soap still on.
Have you tried their seaweed gel though? It’s divine!
