Balea Buttermilk and Lemon Hand Cream Review

Skin type: combination, sensitive

Hello, everyone!

Today’s review is about Balea Buttermilk and Lemon Hand Cream. Yes, I bought one more hand cream from Balea. Balea is a very affordable brand and I love to try their products.

Price: €1 for 100ml
Product Description:
Balea Hand Cream Buttermilk & Lemon. Gentle care with the fresh scent of buttermilk and lemon. With Balea you experience the delicate feeling of protected hands. Balea hand cream with the fresh scent of buttermilk and lemon gives your skin gentle moisture. With panthenol and olive oil for a smooth and smooth skin feel.

My Experience with Balea Buttermilk and Lemon Hand Cream:

Let’s start with the packaging. The hand cream comes in a tube with a flap lid. The lid is easy to open and close. The cream is also easy to squeeze out of the tube. The packaging is very appealing and beautiful since it’s in white and yellow color combination. I feel it’s a great color combination and reminds me of spring and summer. The tube is pretty small and handy, hence will easily fit into any handbag.

The main reason for me to buy this cream was the fragrance. I tried it once at the shop from the tester and my son also smelt it. He was like, “oh mummy, it smells so yummy, I can eat it!”  It has an amazing fragrance of sweet lemon and buttermilk. It’s not too strong. I feel it smells like one of those orange cream biscuits you get in India. I am not able to recall the name, though. The fragrance also reminds me of spring and summer. I feel the fragrance gets me refreshed every time I use the cream.

The consistency of the cream is pretty thick. Once you rub it in between your palms, it gets warmed up and spreads very well. The hand cream gets easily absorbed into the skin and nails. It does not leave any oily layer and does not feel greasy. I hate it when creams leave my hands oily. I feel handicapped. But within a minute or two, the cream gets well absorbed. The palms also feel well moisturized and supple and even my nails and cuticles look healthy.

The product contains buttermilk extracts along with lemon and olive oil. As we all know, these ingredients are quite nourishing. I tend to apply this hand cream twice a day when I have a normal work day. But in case I am outdoors, my hands feel more dry, hence I apply it once in every four hours or so. I also reapply it whenever I wash my hands. Overall, it’s a good cream for an affordable price. It takes care of my hands and the nails. The fragrance is also very lovely.

Pros of Balea Buttermilk and Lemon Hand Cream:

• Small, handy packaging
• Gets easily absorbed
• Non-sticky and non-oily
• Lovely fragrance
• Attractive packaging
• Affordable

Cons of Balea Buttermilk and Lemon Hand Cream:
