Today’s review is about the Balea Anti-Pimple Patches. I found this product in a drug store a few months back and was very excited to try it. I have very sensitive skin and get pimples on my face which finally scar; I just hate them! Seeing the product, I thought I have found the Holy Grail. I read some reviews and found good ratings. So, was very positive when I bought the product. Here’s what my final experience with it was like!

2. Add patch to the pimple and gently press down.

My Experience with Balea Soft and Clear Anti-Pimple Patches:

It comes in a cardboard envelop kind of packaging. Within this envelope, there are 3 plastic sheets with 12 patches each. The plastic as well as the patches are transparent. The patches are very thin but not delicate. The patches can be removed like a bindi and applied easily on the pimple. They are all of the same size. The patch is hardly visible on the face when applied. It is recommended to apply the patch on the pimple after washing the face and toweling. For best results, use it overnight.

I used more than 2 sheets and here is my impression – when applied overnight, the results in the morning look promising, but are deceiving. The pimple’s redness gets reduced and also the size looks smaller. But, during the day, when you don’t wear the patch, the pimple advances and becomes worse. When applied on the pimple too, it doesn’t cause any kind of burning: sensation or soothing.

The first day I was very impressed thinking that the pimple was healing when it had just started. But then when I saw that during the day it was getting bigger and worse I realized that the product doesn’t work from within. It only provides a temporary feeling that the pimple has reduced. But I have used it on fresh pimples and old pimples, but none seemed to subside.

There are times when more than one pimple arise very close to each other. Then the patches appear little small. They don’t cover more than one. It would be advantageous to have a strip and one could decide how big a patch is required. Overall, I am not happy with the product. It’s not as effective as it claims. It was not expensive hence not cursing.
