The Balm FratBoy Blush-Review

Dear Beauties,

In my last haul pic many of you commented regarding The Balm products, so I thought let me review my very first blush from from this brand known as The Frat Boy πŸ™‚ I came to know about The Balm brand from one of my favorite YouTube gurus Emilynoel! In my opinion no body reviews the product better than her on YT and in one of her reviews she mentioned about The Balm products and from then on I was totally hooked on them!

Since these were not available in India so I put them in my ever growing wish list for the products to try when I visit U.S.:) so you can understand my excitement when I spotted these in a local cosmetic store SASA in KL! I just had to try them and seeing my excitement hubby dear gifted me a couple of these πŸ™‚

Product Description:-

The Balm Frat Boy Blush.

Whether you’re mixing it up or cutting a rug, you’re left with a face that’s pretty, polished and totally pledge worthy!
When you can’t keep the boys away, blame it on the blush .

I just adore the description!! Isn’t it cute πŸ™‚

Packaging:

The packaging of The Balm products are for me the cutest and most attractive of all. I love it! The Frat Boy blush in whopping size of 8.5gms which is something I can never finish in my life time! It comes in card board box with a decent size mirror. The mirror is very helpful in touch ups and is of good quality too. It doesn’t come with a brush but I don’t really care about it.

Pigmentation:

The shade Frat Boy is gorgeous peachy pink shade and is matte! I have been digging matte products off lately especially in blushes and eyeshadows! I truly feel for me matte blushes work way better for my combination skin tone than those shimmery glittery blushes! The pigmentation is absolutely brilliant! Just a small touch of brush and that’s all you need. Its completely matte with no shimmer or sheen at all and it doesn’t bring out dry patches at all. I have combination skin and it totally works for me.

Staying power:

I have been wearing this blush every single say since last week, when I am at home or just go out for grocery shopping or for movie etc. almost everywhere! It stays for like 8+hours on me which is fantastic!!! I have worn this during day time and night time and it works for both. I have worn this while travelling in trains and hot humid weather of KL and even with little bit of fading it still shows for 6+ hours which freaking awesome!

The Balm Frat Boy Blush (3)

Texture:

The texture is extremely finely milled and packed. It blends smoothly and looks very natural. The best part is that there are absolutely no fallouts!

Overall:

I feel this blush will work on every skin tone warm or cool since its got the right balance of warm and cool undertones. Its perfect for all skin types even for dry skinned beauties since it does not accentuate dry patches nor does it bring out open pores so yay for oily to combi skins as well πŸ™‚ Its one of my HG blushes at the moment and I am so eyeing the rest of the range from The Balm. Oh and it can also be used as an eyeshadow!!! So def a versatile product πŸ™‚
