Banjara’s Pumiga Face Wash Review

Hello Ladies,

Reading and writing for IMBB is a part of my life now.  My day feels incomplete without checking out IMBB. I am sure its the same case with you too 🙂 Anyway, so today, I will review a face wash for you all. This face wash comes from the brand Banjara’s, which is famous for being an herbal brand. Pomegranate is a nice juicy fruit which has lots of anti-oxidants, so when I saw a face wash with pomegranate, I could not resist myself and bought it.

Banjara's Pumiga Face Wash Review

Price:

Rs. 95 for 100 ml.

Product Description:

Banjara’s Pumiga Face Wash removes excess oil from the skin and makes your skin looks fresh. Pomegranate is a natural astringent and works well for oily  and combination skin. It contains Vitamin C, numerous anti-oxidants and also has anti-inflammatory properties, which help the face wash to fight and prevent skin damage. Use twice a day for a smoother skin.  Recommended for acne-prone and aged skin, helps the skin to look younger and pimple free skin. Moisten face and neck before applying.

Active Ingredients:

White Tea extract, Pomegranate extract, glycerin, Aqua.

Pomegranate Face Wash 1

My Experience with Banjara’s Pumiga Face Wash:

I knew about the goodness of pomegranate and then when I read on the tube about its astringent properties, my oily skin got tempted to try this out. It says that it is recommended for acne-prone and aged skin. I have oily skin, I get acne once in a while, and I am in my 27th year now, so it sounded like I can use this product. This face wash is a pomegranate red gel which lathers well on the skin. It removes dirt and makeup efficiently from the skin and leaves skin clean and fresh.

Pomegranate Face Wash 2

As it is said to be for acne-prone skin, I thought it will work on oil control too, but it did not, although there was no such claims made.  It never dried out my skin, I think that is because of the presence of glycerin. However, if you like squeaky clean face, then maybe you won’t like this as this leaves a layer on my face after wash; although the layer is not bothersome or heavy, and when I get my face dry, it feels normal. I feel this layer has something to do with the anti-wrinkle claim.

I am using this face wash from the last 2 weeks now and it is working well for me. I have not had any breakout or any other skin problem. On the whole, this face wash is doing a decent job for me. About the claims they made, my skin is problem free, but I cannot comment on the anti-wrinkle part as I don’t have it now 🙂

As this face wash is not drying in nature, I think all skin types can use this. On the packaging front, the face wash comes in a sturdy tube packing with flip cap which is easy to use and travel friendly.  It has a faint smell of pomegranate; however, I would have loved it to smell exactly like pomegranate.

Pomegranate Face Wash 4

Pros of Banjara’s Pumiga Face Wash:

  • Removes dirt and makeup, cleans skin well.
  • Red + pink color gel face wash, looks nice and smells good too.
  • Keeps skin problem free, does not break out.
  • Travel friendly packaging.
  • Lathers well.
  • Does not dry out the skin.
  • No overpowering smell.
  • Easily available.
  • Not expensive.

Cons of Banjara’s Pumiga Face Wash:

  • Does nothing for oil control or pore size reduction.
  • Leaves a film on face after washing, but it’s not bothering for me and I feel it has something to do with anti-wrinkle properties of the face wash.
  • Full ingredients list not mentioned.

Final Verdict on Banjara’sPumiga Face Wash:

This is a good face wash for all skin types. Does not dry out the skin, keeps skin clean fresh and problem free. All skin types beauties can try this in any season 🙂

IMBB Rating:

3.5/5
