Banjara’s Saffron Gel Review

Hi Girls,
Today am going to review about Banjara’s Saffron gel. Banjara’s is an upcoming beauty cosmetic product. They are mainly specialized in Facial and Toning products. These nature lovers get their ingredients from the Mother Nature. Recently they have came with Banjara’s facial kit with comprises of 9 facial products starting from Cleansing milk to scrubs.
In my point of view facial should be done with a professional touch from the professional, we ourselves getting pampered is actually not a good idea. Facial in sense means getting our skin pampered through the cosmetics products and massages done by the professional.
So we can seek professionals for our facial needs .Today I am going to review about Banjara’s Saffron gel which is among one of the nine products in the Facial kit.

No Introduction is needed for their ingredients, since it all belong to the herbal family
Price: 200/- for 175 gms

My experience with Banjara’s Saffron gel:
It is gel based cream which comes in big tub of 175 grams. It gives oily feeling when we apply it in our face and later leaves our skin completely dry.

How to use Banjaras Saffron Gel:
After a thorough cleansing, wipe your face and start applying the saffron gel and massage it for a while and let it dry for 10 -15 minutes. . Later your face will appear as through you are wearing some red mask.

Positives of the Banjara’s Saffron Gel:
• It provides an instant glow.
• It controls the oil secretion and lightens the skin.
• It is not much expensive , 175 gms cost 200/- only.
• Ingredients is an another plus kesar,Turmeric and sandal.

Negatives of the Banjara’s Saffron Gel:
• It doesn’t provide any solution for blemishes and other marks in the face.
• As soon we apply it, it dries instantly and gives us the feeling that how it is going to work.
• Not a travel friendly jar, and not meant for hygienic handling also.
• They didn’t mention any thing about shelf life.

My final wrapping up comment
When compared with other saffron based gels and creams, Banjara’s is not much in the competition level. Will I buy it again? A big no. I will buy if it comes in a handy jar of 50 Gms.

Thank you Girls.

One caveat emptor here. While uploading this review I noticed that the description of the product mentions “It works from deep within to reach the melamine content in your skin”
I checked online and that IS the description given by the company. Unfortunately, melamine is an ingredient in fire resistant products or pesticides. The company probably wanted to say melanin, the skin pigment.

I didn’t know if I should correct the description or not so I let it be…

You are right sanjeev bhaiya.. I also found many grammatical mistakes in the “Company claims part”

If they can’t get their spellings right…..that shows :wilt: :wilt: :wilt: :wilt: :wilt: :wilt: :wilt: :wilt: :wilt: :wilt: :wilt: :wilt: :wilt: :wilt: :wilt: :wilt: there’s a huge difference between melamine and melanine………..good that you highlighted it Sanjeevji :))

Jomol, even if the spelling were correct I would doubt that a normal gel could reach the melanocytes (melanin cells) easily. :sidefrown:

yesh….correct Sanjeevji….though there a lot of things that can alter melanin production and affect melanocytes….I too agree that a gel can alter melanocytes

***errr….I meant I too agree that a gel CANNOT alter melanocytes

Jomol, yep. there are melanin inhibitors but they can be harmful to the skin. And most normal ‘fairness’ creams can just remove extra melanin produced through tan.

For 175 grams price is reasonable !! But I dont think we cant pamper our skin ourselves with facials,I have seen whenever i do my facial i get better results than done by professionals! We should know certain techniques how to massage and all, then doing it yourself is entirely fine, !
