Bare+Essentials+Cleansing+and+Refreshing+Wipes+Review Bare Essentials Cleansing and Refreshing Wipes Review

I love the Kara Facial Wipes – the lavender cleansing one the most because it is very mild and does not sting.  Some wipes are very drying on the skin, some are strongly perfumed, some leave an oily sheen, and some cause rashes on the skin, but I got lucky with Kara Lavender ones, which have been really good.  Kara Lavender Cleansing Wipes do give out a lather, which I like.  At any given time, I do carry wipes in my purse, mostly the wet ones because I have oily skin and slight dabs from these wet wipes refreshes me.  This time when I was looking for wipes, I wanted plain wet wipes with no lather in them, that’s when I picked Bare Essentials Cleansing and Refreshing Wipes.

Product Description:

Facial Wipes 1 Bare Essentials Cleansing and Refreshing Wipes Review

Bare Essentials wipes have been specially treated with deo extracts, vitamin E, and mineral balanced water for gentle cleaning.  These come in a small pack which can be easily carried in a handbag.  Its like taking a shower in the middle of the day.  Removes dirt and gives clean, fresh, and radiant skin.  It also removes makeup effectively.

My Take on Bare Essentials Cleansing and Refreshing Wipes:

Its a small pack of 12 soft tissue wipes which are very mildly fragranced and have that “just wet” feel.  You might have seen some wipes which are soakingly wet, but these aren’t.  These are good to dab off oil and refresh the face, a good bet to carry along in summers.  These wipes do not lather or foam.  The soft tissue material is not scratchy and does not irritate the skin.

The cleansing agent does not dry up or sting the skin, which according to me is great.  Once you have picked up a tissue, you can re-seal the packet so that the other tissues don’t lose their moistness.

I like these a lot and I would keep repurchasing them like forever, but I won’t rely on these tissues to remove makeup effectively because they don’t.  One has to wipe more than three times to get rid of waterproof makeup though Lakme kajal and lipstick gets wiped off within two wipes, but then, I just use these for freshening up, not for makeup removal, so for me, these are very cool.

Demonstrating how it removes normal makeup:

Starting from the top:  Coloressence Aqua Sindoor, Faces Go Chic Lipstick Wild Orchid, Lakme Kajal.

Pros of Bare Essentials Cleansing and Refreshing Wipes:

  • Wipes made up of soft tissue material which are non scratchy and nonabrasive.
  • Mild fragrance, does not irritate the skin.
  • Does not foam or lather even though these are cleansing wipes.
  • Does not dry up the skin.
  • Does not leave any oily residue behind.
  • Does not sting.
  • Refreshes skin.
  • Good for dabbing away oil from the face.
  • Removes makeup in two swipes.

Cons of Bare Essentials Cleansing and Refreshing Wipes:

  • Not that effective in removing waterproof makeup.

Will I Repurchase Bare Essentials Cleansing and Refreshing Wipes?

Yes.
