I cannot express how much I love these bareMinerals 5 in 1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadows. I have already reviewed the shade “Barely Nude” and this review will be on the shade “Divine Wine.”

My Experience with bareMinerals Divine Wine 5 in 1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow:

Packaging:  This crème eye shadow comes in a sleek, easy to use and travel with tube. It has a paddle applicator which picks up the right amount of use and makes application really easy.

Texture:  These eyeshadows are very creamy and smooth. They apply and blend easily with fingers or a synthetic brush. It does set quickly, so I prefer doing one eye at a time. It does not go streaky.

Pigmentation:  These eyeshadows go on with full opaque color; there is no need to build them up.

Shade:  The shade “Divine Wine” is a nice greyish taupe color. I do not prefer using this color on its own on an everyday basis since it is a dull color, but it makes for a good base for smoky eyes and that is generally when I will reach for this product. It makes the eyeshadow topped over it adhere nicely and since it is so opaque, it covers all veins and discoloration on your lids.  This shade does not have any shimmer in it.

Staying power:  This eyeshadow has fantastic staying power and that is the most impressive quality about it. This shadow does not crease, does not smear or budge till you remove it. There is no fading. It improves the wear time of any eye shadow you put over it.  It also contains SPF along with other skin care benefits hence it also protects your fragile eye area from the harsh sun.

Overall, I love this product and consider this a must-have for everybody. Though this color may not be the first choice for most of you and even me for that matter, but I do think it is a great addition to have, especially if you love creating deep smoky eyes. Otherwise your best bet is to go with the shade “Barely Nude.”
