Ask IMBB Gang

Fahveen asks:

Hi IMBB,

After reading many reviews about MAC , I thought about giving it a try. I want to start with an eye pencil. I am a bit confused about which range to choose from. I want a daily-wear black pencil. I would be using it mostly on the waterline and as an eye liner on my lids.It should preferably be smudge proof and intense black.

MAC Cham Pale Eye Kohl, Chromagraphic Pencil Photos, Swatches

MAC Eye Kohl- Teddy

Smolder is the one you should pick up, its the best and absolute intense black. But its not smudge-proof, especially if you are a blinker like me.

I came up with this question only after reading about non smudge-proof nature :( Do you have any other suggestion?

If you dont want smudges, this –> http://makeupandbeauty.com/mac-technakohl-liner-graphblack-review/ It has been my HG kajal for around 5 years now. I have the bad habit of constantly rubbing my eyes and this helps me not to end up looking like a racoon. The last time i bought it, i think i paid around Rs1050~.

You can do for engraved if you are looking for smudge proof options . But I adore smolder and feline kohls. They smudge and create the most beautiful and easiest smokey eye within 2 minutes.

I agree, totally worship Smolder even though it smudges a bit too much for my liking. Never used engraved. how are you Rati?

I have used Graphblack, Feline , Smolder and Engraved from MAC. If you want a smudge proof option go for Engraved. It is not the blackest black, but a very nice intensity for everyday use. I love it. My second choice is graphblack, but you don’t get much product in there.

Smolder and Feline smudges if you don’t use them properly (smudging with eye shadow)

Hope this helps.
