My Experience with Bath and Body Works Be Joyful Shower Gel:
Let us start with the packaging – Bath and Body Works Be Joyful Shower Gel comes in a transparent plastic bottle. The bottle has a push top cap. The bottle is sturdy, but huge to be carried along during travels. This fragrance comes in travel size as well. The packaging is simpler as compared to the other fragrances that I have reviewed recently. It has a simple bow ribbon graphic on a glittery background. The shiny red cap makes the bottle look rich and luxe.
Bath and Works Be Joyful shower gel is magenta pink in color but comes out pretty light, almost colorless. The consistency of the shower gel is medium, neither very thick nor liquid-y. A dime-sized amount produces a good amount of lather which is good enough for a single use. It does not strip my skin of moisture, instead leaves it soft and supple. It cleans my skin effectively.
I have very dry skin, but it does not feel dry or stretchy making me run towards the moisturizer. However, I always follow up with a moisturizer as my super duper dry skin just cannot do without it. Â This shower gel contains moisture-rich ingredients like shea butter, vitamin E and aloe.
The fragrance of “Be Joyful” range is sweet. The top notes start with Clementine, melon, and mango fragrances. However, I can smell mango and melon but cannot trace clementine at all. Also, the shower gel also has spicy, cinnamon-nutmeg like fragrance. These spicy notes are not very prominent though. BBW states that mid notes are flowery, however, I can smell just a little bit of jasmine. I am not aware of honeysuckle fragrance, so really cannot say anything about it. Dry notes are Dulce de Leche which is like condensed milk, Golden Amber and Shimmering Sugar. It does have amber scent and is sensual and delicate. Though I do not like sweet fragrances very much, but this fragrance kind of grows on you. đ But this scent does not stay at all, it is gone as soon as I step out of the shower.

Would I Repurchase Bath and Body Works Be Joyful Shower Gel?
I like the fragrance as it somehow grows on you, but even after using the shower gel along with the body lotion and fragrance mist from the same range, the fragrance does not stay for more than 3 hours or so. I would have repurchased this for sure if the scent would have stayed longer.
