Body lotions are a complete must in this weather! My skin is drying out a lot lately and I am just stocking up on a lot of body lotions! Today, will be a review of the Bath and Body Works Body Lotion in Black Raspberry Vanilla! The name sounds yummy, doesn’t it?  I have had this lotion for about two months now, and I have been using this one a lot more than the other lotions I own! So, let’s find out the good’s and bad’s about the product!

Packaging:

It comes in a transparent plastic bottle packaging; I find the bottle very robust! The front label has black raspberry written, with some flowers and other details. At the back, are the claims and ingredients mentioned! It is a flip silver cap, like the tick-tock one, and over-all, it is a nice packaging!

Fragrance:

The fragrance is a mix of floral and fruity, and I like it for the most part, however, sometimes it just gets to me!! There are days when I really like the scent, and there are days I just cannot stand it! That is because it can get too over-powering at times, and maybe I load too much of it on my body! 😛

Texture: The white-colored lotion has more of a gooey texture and glides on really smoothly over the skin. It gets absorbed in the skin within two seconds (seriously) and makes the skin feel really soft. It does hydrate well enough, considering it is enriched with the goodness of vitamin E, Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter!

Staying Power:

There are days when I’m totally digging this lotion and there are days when I am not! So, when I’m really in the mood for this, I have it on for like the entire day. No, it doesn’t stay all day; it stays for about three hours and then needs re-application. That is one of the biggest let down for this product in my opinion!!

Bottom Line:

I pretty much like Black Raspberry Vanilla for the floral fruity fragrance and the amazing vitamins and oils it is enriched with. The texture is good and hydrates well, but in my opinion, a good body lotion has to stay put for more than six hours, I hate re-application! So, if you are okay with the minimal staying power, this can be your piece of cake!

Would I Recommend Bath and Body Works Black Raspberry Vanilla Body Lotion?

If you love lotions that smell good, this is for you. But if you are looking for long-lasting hydration, this will not do the trick.

Would I Repurchase Bath and Body Works Black Raspberry Vanilla Body Lotion?

I have had this for a while now and I have used up almost all of it. I like the scent of this lotion, but I can always go for body mists for the fragrance factor.  I would want my body lotions to hydrate and moisturize more than smelling good. So, I think NOT!
