Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Luxury Bubble Bath Review

Hello all,

I am back and this time too, it is a product from Bath and Body Works. 😉 Bubble baths do ease me from all the stress and tiredness. They really are a luxury and indulgence.  The past few days were so hectic for me that I badly needed something to relax me to the core and to take away all the tiredness. And what can be better than a bubble bath! I used Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Luxury Bubble Bath this time.  I had bought this even before I bought Glazed Apple Bath Jelly, but the latter one so tempting that obviously I used it before I used this bubble bath 😛

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Luxury Bubble Bath:

The bubble bath comes in a translucent bottle with a squeeze cap. The bottle is similar to the ones for body lotions and shower gels, just a bit bigger. From outside, the bubble bath seems to be light pink in color, but it mostly comes out clear.

The consistency of the bubble bath is similar to the shower gels. It is runny and mixes well with water when poured in the tub. It doesn’t give big bubbles, but a kind of foamy froth, but yes, the bubbles are lots and lots. 😀 But the bubbles stay only for some 15-20 minutes or so and die down even earlier if you move around too much in the tub. So, if you are planning for a romantic soak with your partner, this is not the product to be picked. 😛

The fragrance is quite strong and it does stay on my skin for a couple of hours even after the bath. The bubble bath smells mostly floral with a hint of fruity notes, but it is exotic and not overly sweet. The moment I poured the product in the tub, my bathroom smelled oh so awesome!!! 😀

I have used it as a shower gel as well and it performs excellently there. Only a couple of drops are needed on your loofah if you use it as a shower gel. However, for the tub, the quantity needed is much more. I poured more than a tablespoon of the product and it produced average bubbles with that much amount.

Staying for long in the tub could make your skin dry since bubble baths do contain good amount of SLS for producing rich lather. But this also contains jojoba oil, aloe and glycerin and hence leaves your skin soft and smooth and yes clean too. 🙂 I always follow up with moisturizer.  Also, it did not make my already dry skin drier.

Pros of Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Luxury Bubble Bath:

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Luxury Bubble Bath?

Though I loved the fragrance, I find that this is a very average bubble bath. The main aspect in a bubble bath is the bubbles, obviously, and the performance of the product was just okay in that department. I still have the glazed apple bath jelly to finish, would like to try out something new after that. 🙂

  1. love the JCB range from BBW but I found the lotion and mist to be too strong for me…I mean the body wash and bath were fine but the lotion and creams were annoying as the smell was burning my nose 😀
