This is my first product from Bath and Body Works and I am pretty excited about reviewing it. It’s Moonlight Path Shimmer Mist. Lately, I have been quite obsessed with shimmer lotions and mists. So, I totally fell for this one from the moment I spotted it at the store. I bought it around a week ago and have used it twice already! Read on to find out more about it.

My Take on Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path Shimmer Mist:

Let’s begin with the packaging, shall we? The mist comes in a tall yet slender plastic bottle that almost gives it a glass look. It has a transparent cap (which I don’t feel is that secure; easily breakable). The mist inside is bluish purple in color and has gorgeous silver shimmer.  All in all, I would say I am not really impressed with the cap, but I totally love everything else about the packaging.

Now, coming to the fragrance Moonlight Path; it’s a very cool fragrance. Totally perfect for the current weather. It smells excessively of lavender, rose, jasmine and vanilla. I would say it’s the kind of floral fragrance that I can never get bored or tired of. It smells just perfect! Totally my “it” fragrance for the season. The fragrance lingers on the skin for almost an entire day (I am not kidding you guys 😀 ) if I apply a generous amount of it. The shimmer particles also just “stay there” until they come in contact with water. Besides that, since it’s a 236 ml bottle and a little amount of mist gives shimmery effect, the bottle would last me a very long time, I guess 😛

The mist looks purple in the bottle, but is actually transparent (like usual mists), just that this one has silver shimmer in it and it has a very generous amount of shimmer in it. Like two or three spritzes, and it gives a gorgeous shimmery look on skin. Also, the shimmer particles aren’t very over the top, they’re subtle and look classy for an evening look.

All in all, it’s one of the best shimmer mists I have across.

Pros of Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path Shimmer Mist:

• Adorable, girly packaging.
• Gorgeous silver shimmer particles.
• Great staying power.
• Amazing fragrance.
• Does not cause any irritation on my skin.

Cons of Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path Shimmer Mist:

• I am not too happy with its plastic cap.
• Not easily available in India.
• Contains alcohol (though most mists contain alcohol these days).

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path Shimmer Mist?

I am definitely getting Bath and Body Works mist in another fragrance as soon as I finish this one and I absolutely recommend it to all those who like shimmery mists.
