This is my first post here on IMBB and I hope you guys like it. Winters mean dry skin, chapped lips, etc. At the same time, it also means pampering your body with lovely body lotions, body butters, etc. Today, I am going to review the Peach & Honey Almond Body Lotion from the Bath and Body Works’ Artisan Collection.

I was lucky enough to receive a travel size pack of this lotion as a gift from my husband’s Uncle and Aunt, who had recently been to the US. I also received the fragrance mist along with this lotion. I can’t tell you how happy I was to see these beauties. 🙂 Actually, I was even happier, because I finally had a really nice product which I could review on IMBB. I’ve heard a lot about the Bath and Body Works Collections and have always wanted to try them out. Thank you, Aunty and Uncle for this wonderful gift. Okay, I guess that’s enough of rambling. Let’s get on to the review now.

My skin type: I have combination skin and my skin gets really dry and itchy during the winters.

My Experience With Bath and Body Works Peach & Honey Almond Body Lotion:

I love the packaging of this product. The cap reminds me of the Tresseme shampoo bottles, where you have to press one side and there is an opening on the other end, which dispenses a little quantity of the product. The label too looks lovely, with apples drawn on one end.

Coming to the fragrance, I just loved it. I’ve heard people rave about the fragrances made by Bath and Body Works and after using this body lotion, I realized that their ravings are indeed true. I am a fan of lotions that smell good and I must say that this lotion scores a 10 on 10 in that aspect. You can immediately smell a mix of aromas including the aroma of vanilla, peach, blackberry, apple, etc. These are the fragrances that were very evident for me.

Coming to the consistency, the lotion is not very thick. My VLCC body lotion with cocoa butter is thicker and creamier. However, the staying power is really good. My skin remained moisturized for about 5 hours on an average. The best part is that my skin did not feel itchy the next day. In fact, I’m beginning to love this product so much that I’ve been using it sparingly, out of fear that it will get over soon, since it is a mini sized bottle. 🙂
