Today, I am reviewing a shower gel from my recent Bath and Body Works haul – this is the Bath and Body Works Tahiti Island Dream Shower Gel and is part of their recently-launched “Sea Side” collection. Read on to find out more.

Mid Notes: Jasmine Petals, Water Lily, Lush Frangipani.
Dry Notes: Tahitian Vanilla Musk, Skin Amber, Australian Sandalwood.
Key Fragrance Notes:

Usage:

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Tahiti Island Dream Shower Gel:
Packaging: The shower gel comes in the standard Bath and Body Works packaging of a sturdy plastic bottle. The parrot green packaging with a navy blue flower reminds me of all things cool and fresh. The bottle comes with a green press cap. The press cap helps to dispense only required quantity of the product. The bottle is transparent and helps to display the content. The shower gel itself is a light green color.
Formula/Performance: The consistency of the shower gel is not too thick and it lathers up very well (especially with a loofah). Hence, a small amount goes a long way. It does not dry me out and leaves my skin clean and fresh. The presence of Shea butter and Vitamin E do help in retaining the moisture in the skin. It rinses off easily and does not leave behind any residue.
Fragrance: Tahiti Island Dream is one exotic fragrance; it is a wonderful blend of coconut, floral and vanilla. It is not a very strong fragrance and I love that it does not assault your senses; instead it lingers on lovingly on the body. It is a nice fragrance to use during the summer months for a clean fresh feeling. The scent is not long-lasting though and lasts for 1-2 hours before fading out.

- Clean fresh fragrance.
- Cleans well leaving your skin refreshed.
- Does not dry out the skin due to presence of Shea butter and Vitamin E.
- Attractive and sturdy packaging.
- Lathers well and will last long as not much product is needed.
Cons of Bath and Body Works Tahiti Island Dream Shower Gel:
- The smell is not long lasting on the body, but I am fine with that.

Fragrance is completely a personal choice. But, if clean, fresh fragrances are your liking, you must try this product out. I like trying newer fragrances and hence will not repurchase.
