Mumbai’s weather is at it’s best! I’m loving the cold and what better than to layer on clothes, sport a clear looking skin and smell fresh and wintery? Keeping the fragrance part in mind, today I’ll be reviewing the Bath and Body Works Shower Gel in Winter Candy Apple! In my opinion, BBW products are something each and every girl must own, at least once in their lifetime. 🙂 The mist and lotion from the Winter Candy Apple range have already been reviewed. So, let’s get to the Shower Gel review! 🙂

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Winter Candy Apple Shower Gel:

They have revamped their packaging and this is how it currently looks like! No one can beat BBW with their cute packaging! The bottle is transparent. The shower gel is red in colour, which looks slightly pink. The sticker on the front displays details about the product and the sticker at the back has the list of ingredients. The bottle opens if you apply slight pressure on the top of the cap. Over all it’s so cute, good to look at and very travel friendly! 🙂

The red shower gel is thick and lathers up very well. It smells really good. It instantly reminds you of apples and the jelly we use to eat when we were kids. The shower gel makes your skin soft and clean. I like feeling squeeky clean after shower.

It doesn’t dry out the skin, which I love! The gel can be washed off easily and it leaves your skin smelling so fresh and amazing! BBW describes the fragrance as “An irresistible treat of red apple, rose petals and candied orange”. Once you use this shower gel, the same lotion and body mist, you are set for the day smelling so good that anyone near you would compliment on your fragrance. But the fragrance isn’t very unique. Boot’s Apple shower gel smells nearly the same. Also, the fragrance is little too sweet for my liking, but it’s okay. I can get away with using only the shower gel 🙂 . Those who don’t like sweet fragrances, wouldn’t like this one. The fragrance lasts a long time, but if you use the gel, lotion and mist, it would really last the whole day long!

Good thing about this shower gel is that little goes a long way, but the not so good thing is, we girls prefer using more shower gel 🙂 , at least I do! You automatically feel like you’ve had a long and luxurious bath! Don’t we all love that feeling?

• Not so unique fragrance.

No. Because the fragrance isn’t unique at all! And I already own a similar smelling shower gel! Instead I’d give other BBW ranges a try!
