I reviewed a dozen products from Bath & Body Works last year. They were shipped internationally, so the price tag with taxes and shipping gave me a jolt! I promised myself not to repeat the mistake and have been keeping it. This product is a first-hand pick from my friend and colleague during her recent visit to USA. She was generous enough to pick few things for me.

My Experience with Bath & Body Works Country Chic Body Lotion:
Starting with the packaging, this body lotion comes in a plastic bottle with nozzle cap. The white body lotion keeps peeking through the transparent bottle with colourful, country themed labels and imprints on the bottle. I love the packaging.
The texture of the body lotion is not too thick as I expected, based on my previous experience with the brand. However, the texture is creamy and hydrating. I will rate the formula more as hydrating rather than moisturising as it isn’t suitable for very dry skin. It takes away dryness, but the moisture doesn’t locks down into skin and frequent reapplication is required to keep skin soft and supple in peak winters. But this lotion will work best in moderate winter regions. It absorbs fast without any greasy effect.
The noticeable factor in this lotion is the exotic fragrance. It is a matchless treat for floral fragrance lovers. The moment you pour it into palms, a splash of fresh flowers welcomes you. The top notes reveal a hint of fruits (citrus and pear). The middle and dominating notes are of country flowers like lily, daisies and gardenia. The middle notes are the key factor to make your day. This fragrance lasts several hours with you. The last notes are purely wood and sandalwood and I personally fell for them.
I have never been to a Bath & Body Works outlet because we don’t have one locally. We need to import these products which means we can’t take advantage of seals and deals as well. So the price factor is steep when we import Bath & Body Works products.
