Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Lotion

My best friend recently came back from an official trip from the US and as a part of a gift hamper that she got for me was this body lotion from Bath and Body Works’ Signature Collection in Japanese Cherry Blossom.  I don’t know if I have ever mentioned in my previous articles that I have dry skin and so I am a sucker for good lotions and moisturizers. Well you can imagine my excitement when I received this lotion from her. I am in love with it ever since and would love to review it for IMBB here.

My Experience

Like I said earlier I love this Japanese Cherry Blossom body lotion.

Packaging

Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Lotion comes in a 237ml bottle which is translucently white in color with a crimson-red label with pink and cherry blossoms on it. The cap of the bottle is screw-on with a cute press to open type of an outlet for measured use of the lotion. The overall packaging is pretty ok but the label and the color co-ordination on it takes away the cake  It looks so pretty on the dresser…

Fragrance

I have never smelled a cherry blossom flower but if it smell like what the cream smells like then Cherry Blossom sure is my favorite flower in the world. The fragrance of the lotion is breathtaking. It’s like you just cannot have enough of it. It’s amazing… Whenever I have used it, I have got compliments for it, men, women and children alike… Everyone loves the smell! My boy friend who is extremely finicky about fragrances also loves it! Oh and the fragrance is really long lasting

Feel & Consistency

The lotion when applied to the body feels awesome. The skin feels nourished and smooth. I simply love how my skin responds to the lotion  My face has a much drier skin and so I sometimes add a couple of drops of almond oil to the lotion and apply. It works wonders for me. It totally soothes my skin and the lingering fragrance just simply sets my mood…

Price

Well that’s a tricky one, cause it was gift. But on their site, the price is stated to be $10.50.

In order to summarize let me list out the pros and cons for you all…

PROs

• Amazing fragrance
• Leaves the skin smooth and soft
• The cap with the press and open technique is very helpful in using the right quantity.
• The bottle with its label is cute and looks pretty on the dresser (it’s a plus for me )
• Contains Shea Butter, jojoba oil and Vitamin E.
• For $10 i.e. approximately INR 470/- is an awesome deal
• It is NOT Tested on Animals!
