Bath and Body Works Midnight Pomegranate Body Mist Review

By Aqualung

I love Bath and Body Works range of products and was introduced to them when a friend of mine bought some lotions, body mists, and candles from the US. The relationship started 4 years ago and is still going on.  Today, I will be telling you all about Midnight Pomegranate Body Mist from their signature collection.  The bottle looks like wine and it smells divine :P

Bath and Body Works Midnight Pomegranate Body Mist Review

Product Description:

Lavishly spritz our refreshing Signature Collection Fine Fragrance Mist lavishly on your body to lightly scent your skin with our exclusive, enticing Midnight Pomegranate, a fiery fruit and spice blend that conjures an image of rubies sparkling in moonlight.

• Top Notes: Pomegranate, Sparkling Citrus, Dewberry, Anise, Cinnamon, Nutmeg
• Mid Notes: Cassis, Blackberry, Iris, Jasmine, Raspberry
• Dry Notes: Musk, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Tobacco, Patchouli
• Aloe conditions and nourishes skin.

How To Use:

Smooth over skin, focusing on dry spots like elbows, heels, knees and hands.

Midnight Pomegranate 1

To define the smell to you all, imagine on the likes of grapes, cranberry, blueberry, raspberry and pomegranate of course :)  Its fruity but not the typical fruitiness that hits you right on the nose. Its not strong or overpowering, but at the same time, its not very mild as well.  The balance is quite right and the smell is different when you are looking for a change from your citrus flavors. This smell just awakens me and oozes that freshness into me.

Staying power is pretty good. I would say a good 5 to 6 hours and with just a little bit of re-application, I am good to go for the rest of the day.

The quantity of the product is also generous. It lasts me a good 7 to 8 months.  There’s 236 ml in the bottle.  They are priced at $14 ,but usually they have some online offers, where you buy 2 and get 1 free or buy 3 and get 2 free. I would say they are reasonable prices for such a good quality product and when you combine the offers and buy in bulk, it’s a real deal!

Midnight Pomegranate 2

Initially, when I received this as a gift I never used to use it daily and save it for special days fearing I will run out of it, but now, I always have a spare and use it regularly.

Midnight Pomegrnate 5

I have received many compliments for smelling good with this mist. Its good for office wear as well as parties. The smell is unlike the regular ones we get here in India and that’s what makes you stand out and smell fine!  The packaging of the bottle is user friendly and travel friendly. I know it’s a pretty big bottle to carry around, but what I mean is its not made of glass or easily breakable material, so you can just toss it in your bag and you will be good to go.

Midnight Pomegranate 6

Pros of Bath and Body Works Midnight Pomegranate Body Mist:

  • Smells good, you feel good.
  • Staying power is decent.
  • Quantity is liberal.
  • Fairly priced, you can combine with other offers.
  • User-friendly packaging.
  • Not harsh on the skin when you spray.

Cons of Bath and Body Works Midnight Pomegranate Body Mist:

  • Limited availability in India.

I really hope very soon they will come to India or at least make them available online.  Ask your family/friends coming from USA/Canada to get them for you. They have many other products from the same collection like shower gels, lotions, body butter etc.  Also, do check out their online store, they have got a plethora of options and flavors. You will just get dazed and confused, but in a good way. They make gift baskets, travel sized products, mix and match options are also available. To summarize, I would say this fragrance is fresh, fine and fun. Suitable for all seasons and occasions.
