Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path Body Lotion Review

Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path Body Lotion Review

From the last 3 months, my husband is in the United States for a project, and last week, he had been asked to extend his stay for one more month. In these three months, we have missed our first wedding anniversary. Yes, we are married for 1 year now, but stayed together for just 6 months. As just after a month of marriage, I went to the US for my work and after I came back, he left for his project work. Anyway, to cut the long story short, to compensate for his absence, my husband sent a small gift box for me through one of his friends and when I opened the box, I was screaming with excitement. That box had Bath and Body Works body lotions, body mists, shower gels and body butters inside it (some 20 of them to be precise). So out of that lot, today I am going to review Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path Body Lotion for you, as that’s the one I am using from the last one week.

Price:

$11 for 8FL OZ/ 236 ml.

Moonlight Path

What Bath & Body Works Moonlight Path Body Lotion Claims:

Our exclusive Signature Body Lotion formula, fortified with powerful ingredients like super conditioning Shea Butter, fast absorbing Jojoba Oil and protective Vitamin E, hydrates skin with moisture that lasts all day. Our non-greasy formula absorbs quickly and completely to leave skin feeling incredibly soft, smooth and nourished, making it the perfect daily moisturizer.

  • Our exclusive Moonlight Path fragrance is an opulent floral bouquet that captures the essence of moonlit strolls in lush garden.
  • Key fragrance notes: French Lavender, Lily of the Valley, Oakmoss, Musk.

How To Use:

  • Smooth over body to moisturize and lightly fragrance skin.

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path Body Lotion:

I have used body butters and body mists from Bath and Body Works, and they impressed me a lot. This is my first body lotion from them, and I got what I was expecting from it. This body lotion has the goodness of Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E which makes skin soft, smooth and hydrated. The consistency of this lotion is just apt, not very runny, not very thick. It gets easily absorbed in my skin and gives me non-greasy, moisturized skin. Although, I doubt it will be a good choice for very dry skin, as its a light moisturizer, but it works wonderfully on my normal skin.

Moonlight Path

The fragrance of Moonlight Path Body Lotion is a very pleasant and one of the top-selling fragrances of Bath and Body Works.  It is not at all a fruity smell; rather it’s a musky fragrance. To me, this lotion smells like the perfume from Jovan musk, if you have smelled that, you can understand how sensuous this lotion smells.  The lasting power is great, smell lingers throughout the day on me (10-12 hours, to be precise).

Packaging is sleek and sturdy. It comes in a transparent plastic bottle, with push cap which has a small hole for the lotion to come out. This makes sure the body lotion comes out in limited quantity, and I don’t end up wasting it.

Moonlight Path

Pros of Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path Body Lotion:

  • Hydrating, non-greasy body lotion.
  • Makes skin soft and smooth.
  • Gets easily absorbed into the skin.
  • Smells very pleasant.
  • Very good fragrance and staying power.
  • Sleek packaging, push cap prevents wastage of lotion.
  • Not tested on animals.

Cons of Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path Body Lotion:

  • Availability in India is an issue, it’s easily available online, but online shopping is not preferred by many.
  • Not the best choice for dry skin beauties.
Final Verdict on Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path Body Lotion:

If you need a light body lotion, which smells very nice, with very good fragrance and staying power, then Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path Body Lotion is a very good choice for you. In case, you have very dry skin, it is better that you look for other body lotions.

IMBB Rating:

4.25/5
