Bath and Body Works Secret Wonderland Fragrance Mist

Bath and Body Works Secret Wonderland Fragrance Mist

A review of Bath and Body Works Signature Collection Body Lotion – Secret Wonderland has already been covered on IMBB in which Shivani pointed out that the fragrance of this reminded her of “Babool chewing gum.” Oh how I had enjoyed that reference! Good one! : ) It still makes me giggle! :hhi:, but I genuinely do not remember “Babool chewing gum’s” smell or taste. I haven’t had it that much, so I cannot compare the two. Perfumes are such a personal choice and that is why there is a vast difference in opinions. Anyway, I wanted to present my opinion on the fragrance mist of this line.

Secret Wonderland™ is one of my absolute favourite ranges from Bath and Body Works. Proof is in the image below, where you can see that I have nearly finished my Body Lotion and Shower Gel within a few months.  I do not usually go for scented products like these. I stick to the “Olays” usually, but this particular fragrance is just delicious. It makes me want to drink it all up!

body mist

This fragrance mist comes in a sturdy, see-through plastic spritzer bottle. Bath and Body Works always has a very good quality to their spray bottles, their nozzles, etc. So, that is never a concern anyway.

I cannot stand perfumes or body sprays or mists that are very strong. I immediately get headaches, :doctor: migraines, my sinus flares up :doctor: and all that drama happens. So, I only like mild fragrances. For me, picking out a good fragrance is literally a painstaking task. That is why I’m overjoyed when I find one that my body “okay’s.”  Secret Wonderland is so deliciously mild that it is my current go-to fragrance mist.

Now, pay attention, this particular fragrance has Strawberries, Raspberries, Wild Berries, Gardenia, Jasmine, Peach Nectar, Coconut, Vanilla, Sandalwood, and White Amber in it. WOW! :woot: Each of these on its own has a magnificent aroma! Imagine a concoction of it and a mild and subtle concoction at that. For me, it is “spellbindingly” good.  It’s so luxurious, but at the same time, it’s not at all that strong. It has the perfect amount of smell. It is not as strong as a perfume and not a weak spritz either. It is a delightful mist. We often describe products as having “a nice fruity, flowery fragrance,” it has become a standard descriptor of a good perfume.  This mist actually has those “flowery” and the “fruity” scents!

I spray this on my body and also sometimes on my clothes. It will not spoil the fabric; if you spray it from afar. It’s very much diluted and yet lingers effectively ever so lightly. I always used to have the smaller size of this mist in my bag, but then I used it all up :headbang: , but I do have the 8 oz. one. :yahoo:

Side Note:

As you can see in the ingredients list, this product has “alcohol denat.” or alcohol denatured, this is not the kind of alcohol that would be equivalent to the intoxicating kind, so those particular about not using alcohol in skin care products can be rest assured that using a product that has this particular kind of alcohol would not be against your belief or traditions.

What I Like about Bath and Body Works Secret Wonderland Fragrance Mist:

  • Its fragrance; that is the only thing that matters and it works for me. If I had to list some more points, I’d say I love that it’s very mild.
  • Its packaging (true for any Bath and Body Works product).
  • It usually is available in some special offer like “Buy 2 get 1 Free” or “Buy 3 get 2 Free”, that way you can pick up more of your favorite ones or experiment (true for any Bath & Body Works product).  My sister told me this, use the shower gel during your bath, then moisturize with the complimentary body lotion well and then spritz this mist on after you are clothed. You will smell amazing all day long.  If you like a fragrance from Bath and Body Works, try to get all in that range.
  • It comes in a 3 oz. bottle as well, which would fit in most bags and can be used on the go (true for any Bath & Body Works product).
  • It’s pretty bright pink-purple color! The girly-girl in me loves it.

What I Do Not Like about Bath and Body Works Secret Wonderland Fragrance Mist:

  • Non-availability in India.
  • The 8 oz. bottle is not easy to travel with; but the 3 oz. one is perfect for it, that’s it nothing else.

Would I Recommend Bath and Body Works Secret Wonderland Fragrance Mist?

Perfume preference is unique to each of us. No two people will smell the exact same fragrance even though the product may be same; our natural body scents always add to it. That is why I would only say to look at the notes, if they appeal to you or you have had good experiences with these fragrances then, yes, I highly, very highly recommend this.

IMBB Rating:

4.8/5 (deducting only because of its common non-availability in India).

I hope you liked reading this.
