I never thought I would get hooked on to the Bath & Body Works range of body care products, more or less all of them have fared well for me and here is the review on SKY Violet Lily Body Lotion from BBW.

My Experience with Bath & Body Works SKY Violet Lily Body Lotion:

The packaging is like regular body lotion bottles by BBW. It has a cute blue cap which adds to the glam of the otherwise simple packaging. The body is transparent and hence you can keep a check on the quantity of the product left. The details about the product are mentioned at the back of the bottle.

The texture of the lotion is smooth and creamy but not heavy. It spreads well on the body without feeling sticky or greasy. The fragrance is slightly overpowering to start with, but after a while it settles to a comfortable pleasant one. The fragrance stays for about 2-3 hours without any layering with similar fragrance products.

The lotion keeps the skin hydrated for a very long time. It gave 12 hour hydration to my normal skin. People with dry skin might require reapplication in 7-8 hours but for me it is great. Some lotions do give long lasting hydration but they are generally greasy in consistency. Though it takes a while to get absorbed, once settled, it gives the required dose of moisture to the skin. Overall it is a great product and BBW continues to be my favorite.
