Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Super Rich Foot Cream Review

Hey Everyone!

Only now when I am reviewing all this stuff, I am realizing how much stuff I have hoarded in the past few months and I still keep trying to hoard more. I need to make a promise to not buy more stuff before I finish these one 😛 do you think I will be able to follow through with it? 😛  Anyway, I will review this product now – The Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Super Rich Foot Cream – shea butter (I love the name!). I had reviewed the hand cream from this range here.

Packaging:

The packaging is pretty similar to the one of the hand cream. I really like the bright colors and the tube packaging, which is pretty efficient for a foot cream, unlike a tub packaging which is so inconvenient. I like the green color as it reminds me of eucalyptus extract which is present on the cream.

My Take on Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Super Rich Foot Cream:

So, I don’t really know why I bought a foot cream, but mainly, I was thinking about my mum when buying it because her feet are very dry and cracked. I also got a heel repair cream for her, but she’s too busy to use it religiously, and so she told me to keep this one.

So, starting with the texture, it’s very thick, like a cream and body butter mixed into one, and it is also very moisturizing. It consists of shea butter which we all know has amazing moisturizing properties. It says to use after a foot scrub, but I used it after using a foot file when one day my feet were almost peeling off due to walking a lot in the heat. So, I soaked my feet in bath salts and exfoliated it and used this cream. Honestly, I found it a little too greasy for my liking. Like, even after a sufficient amount of time, it refuses to sink in completely and almost forms a layer over your feet. If you wear shoes, your feet will become sticky and slippery. So, I decided to just tell my mum to use it, and as she used it for around a week regularly, her feet became much softer, and her self-pedicure lasted much longer. She was quite happy with the product overall.  So, I guess it is more suitable for people with very dry feet, otherwise it gives a greasy feeling. Ideally, you could apply it at night before sleeping and it won’t feel greasy!

The good part is that it smells minty, and has eucalyptus which feels a bit cooling on your feet when applied. Also, I wouldn’t have bought it for $15 for 118 ml if I didn’t get it on offer.

Pros of Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Super Rich Foot Cream:

  • Good foot cream, very moisturizing.
  • Gives instantly soft and smooth feet on application.
  • Makes feet softer with regular usage.
  • Contains shea butter and eucalyptus extracts.
  • Suitable for people with very dry feet.

Cons of Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Super Rich Foot Cream:

  • Expensive for a foot cream.
  • Becomes greasy on not-very-dry feet.
  • Makes feet sticky when wearing shoes.

IMBB Rating:

4/5.

I am rating it highly because my mum was the one who needed the foot cream and since she liked it, I am happy with my purchase.  I would recommend it if you have very dry feet, this is heavy-duty. I don’t know if I would repurchase, maybe I will look for other options.
