Becca is such a well-known brand, and they are hugely popular for their highlighters. I adore Jaclyn Hill’s work and I follow her on every social media. I was desperate to try her collaborated skin perfector in Champagne Pop and I was lucky to get my hands on her palette containing her three skin perfectors, which is a total steal for me!
This Becca Champagne Glow Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Palette contains:
- Pearl ( plain linen white).
- Champagne Pop (peachy golden).
- Blushed copper ( coppery rose gold).
Since Champagne Pop has been reviewed before on IMBB and “Blushed Copper” is a limited edition shade, I would concentrate mostly on “Pearl” in this review.

My Experience with Becca Pearl Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed:
The palette comes in a sleek, gold rectangular packaging that includes a huge mirror, which makes it perfect for travel as this can come handy and you can travel with three highlighters in a single palette. Jaclyn Hill’s signature is printed in the front of the palette. The shade name and details are labeled on the back. It’s a sturdy, lightweight, and compact.
Talking particularly about “Pearl” skin perfector, it’s soft and creamy with a lot of shimmer, but just the right amount, not over the top. It does not have any fallout and melts into the skin upon application.
The shade “Pearl” is a linen white color with micro silver glitter, which is finely milled and would be perfect for fair skin tones and can work for medium skin tones as well. I tend to mix Champagne Pop and Pearl shades to get that beautiful natural glow.
I don’t own any white highlighter, but I was happy to get my hands on this one. Its highly blendable and can be used as an eyeshadow as well. I placed this on the lid keeping everything else neutral and it looks stunning. You don’t need much of this highlighter since it’s highly pigmented.
The texture of this perfector is smooth and silky without any grittiness. It’s easy to apply on to the skin and goes on without being patchy or uneven. Also, it does not feel rough against the skin. Pearl is quite different from the highlighters I have used before since it’s quite and perfect for pale skin.
Comparing the pigmentation with other Becca perfectors, I feel all are equally pigmented. This one comes out opaque when swatched imparting a natural sheen to the skin. A single swipe adds a natural glow whereas you can build up the intensity for an evening out.
I apply this perfector with a powder brush though you can apply it as you wish.
As I have mentioned before, it will suit fair to medium skin tones. Oily skin would not need a powder on top. You can apply this on the high points of your face, like cheekbones, nose, forehead to highlight them.
I would suggest you to use a light hand to apply. The staying power is around 6 to 7 hours, that’s for most part of the day and the best thing is that you can pair it up with any blush color.
