Maybelline’s Hyper Sharp eye liner is really good for beginners..since it is in Pen form and very easy to use :) in the same category i also love the colorbar pen liner..deep gorgeous black!

if u want a pencil one retractable which you dont need to sharpen then try lakme absolute black last one, it does not smudge too

once a gel liner, alsways a gel liner….but if you are a pure beginner start with pencil liners, little mistakes are ok with a pencil liner, you can smudge a bit and you are good to go. this is not the case with liquid or gel liners….now its your call…

Pen eyeliners r great for practicing, i too started with a pen style liner n used to practice with it :-P colorbar ultimate liner is great, even comes in blue n green
But i think even gel liners r quite good for beginners as its easy to correct mistakes, just keep a cotton bud handy. N u get such an amazing long lasting application with gel liners! I know many friends who learnt applying liners with maybelln gel liner n the brush that comes with it makes it easier:-)

i started with maybelline gel liner two years back, initially i had trouble i thought i wasted money.. but saw some videos online.. and learnt how to apply within a week..

Gel liners are much better than Pencil or liquid.. not sure about felt tip i have not used it yet..
