Hey Girlies,

I have been a silent follower of IMBB for quite some time now, here I am with my very first review, Hope ya’ll will love it!

Like any other girl on this planet, I have been on an eternal quest of finding my HG lip balm, And trust me, I have used everything under the sun from the plain-old Vaseline to expensive ones like Oriflame/Body shop. I think I just might have found THE ONE! C.O. Bigelow Mentha Supreme 2X Lip shine

Recently a friend at work introduced me to The Bath and Body works range, and I stumbled upon this beauty as I was browsing through their website, after reading the ratings and reviews I had to get this! Sadly Bath and Body works products are not yet available in India , I ordered this one on eBay.

Price:

It costed me Rs.1149 bucks for a pack of two, 14 gms each.

It comes in a shiny metallic blue tube, with a black screw cap, and a slanted applicator similar to the Body shop gloss tubes.

My thoughts C.O. Bigelow Mentha Supreme 2X Lip Shine:

The best lip balm ever. It’s a transparent gel (see swatch), feels absolutely light on your lips, No waxy feel whatsoever and the best part is slather it on and you can kiss dry, chapped lips good bye, literally! The only problem I face is my hair getting stuck on my lips when it’s too windy .
I’m a sucker for anything that’s minty, so much so that I even love mint ice-cream 😛 This balm tastes exactly like Wrigley’s Spearmint gum, and as soon as you apply, it leaves your lips with this cool tingly feeling, a burst of minty freshness and a subtle shine!
Its staying power is the best so far for me, stays through meals, you don’t need frequent re-application but trust me you can’t just stop yourself from re-applying! It’s so tasty that I feel like emptying the entire tube into my mouth! 😛 I have been using it from past one month, and it looks like it’s gonna last at least 4-5 months, easily. I can’t wait to try out the tinted ones from the Mentha Lip Shine line from C.O.Bigelow.

So here’s the final verdict:

Pros of C.O. Bigelow Mentha Supreme 2X Lip Shine:

• Hydrating and amazing staying power
• Lip-smacking flavor
• Leaves a subtle shine
• Hygienic tube packaging

Cons of C.O. Bigelow Mentha Supreme 2X Lip Shine:

• Not available in India
• No color
• Price , But I think it’s totally worth the price
