Today, I am going to review a product which I feel every lady needs, but never gives as much attention as they do while selecting their makeup or dresses.

For girls like me who have no heart to bear the pain of Brazilian wax, there is another alternative which is shaving. But shaving always leaves the sensitive area full of red bumps. Also, the irritation and burning sensation that shaving leaves on skin makes me go mad.  While I was in US, I went to meet my friend and stayed over with her.  I saw this shave gel in her bathroom and I got really curious about this product. I asked her more about it and on her recommendation I purchased it. And after using it, I really felt why I didn’t find this awesome stuff before.

My Experience with Bikini Zone Anti-Bumps Shave Gel:

This blue color gel comes with small blue beads in it and when applied with water on skin, it lathers and the beads melt.  One good thing about the gel is that it does not give heavy lather which can cover skin and make it difficult to see where your blade is going.  It lathers lightly so the skin is visible through the lather which makes shaving easier.  The gel gives a kind of cooling sensation and thus, there is no burning sensation on the skin while and after the shaving, which feels very comforting.  I also feel that is easier to shave when this gel is used compared to when no gel is used. After shaving, it leaves skin clear with no redness and bumps on it. It also gives the needed moisturisation to the skin. The skin does not feel as dry as it feels after regular shaving.

It comes in tube packaging with a flip cap which is easy to use and travel friendly. It has a fresh citrus smell to it which is not very strong.  Many people like to use fragrance-free products for sensitive parts, but I did not feel any irritation/problem with this gel so no issues with that.  About a coin-size of product is sufficient for one use. However, this does nothing for ingrown hair and neither does it claim so.  I feel only exfoliation can help with that and nothing else. This gel saves me from irritated skin and red bumps so I am happy with it.

Overall, I feel it’s a must-have product and I highly recommend this to all the girls who prefer shaving for hair removal in the bikini area. Go for it if you want to say good bye to the after shave redness and irritated skin.
