Biotique Bio Mountain Ebony Vitalizing Serum For Falling Hair Review

Hey Girls,

Hope you all are fine! Most of us are fighting this deadly hair fall issue in our day-to-day life. A lot of factors account for this problem; wrong eating habits, stress, hormonal changes and increasing pollution to name a few.

I also have been suffering from hair fall from a long time and have been trying so many hair care products, but none of them live up to their claims! I saw this Biotique’s Hair Serum for Falling hair on my regular shopping visit 2 months back and have been using it since then.

My experience with Biotique Bio Mountain Ebony Vitalizing Serum For Falling Hair:

The serum comes in a regular Biotique packaging. It is a transparent plastic bottle with a dark green cap. Name of the brand and variant is mentioned on the front. Directions for use and the ingredient list is mentioned at the back of the bottle.

The serum is not actually like a serum like Livon or L’Oreal ones, as it doesn’t tame my hair after application. The consistency is very thin and watery. It feels like applying water to my hair.

Serum has a mild shampoo like fragrance that lasts for 10-15 minutes after application, after that it vanishes. It is very light on the hair and does not leave them oily or sticky. It is easy to spread on wet hair. I have never tried it out on dry hair though the instruction mentions is to be applied on dry hair.

I have been using it for the past 2 months and the bottle is about to finish now; but I have seen no difference in my hair fall or in hair growth. It is still the same!

This time Biotique failed my expectations and this product doesn’t live up to its claims.

Pros of Biotique Bio Mountain Ebony Vitalizing Serum For Falling Hair:

• Affordable.
• 1 bottles lasts for 2 months easily.
• Does not make my hair oily or sticky.
• Mild fragrance for sensitive noses.
• Does not irritate the scalp.
• Preservative free and no animal testing.

Cons of Biotique Bio Mountain Ebony Vitalizing Serum For Falling Hair:

• Does not tame my frizzy hair.
• Too watery in consistency.
• For me, it would have been better if the fragrance lasted longer.
• Does not aid in hair growth.
• Does not help in resolving hair fall.

Conclusion:
I am definitely not going to buy this hair serum again as it doesn’t do as promised. I am really disappointed with its performance and will not recommend you guys to go for it. A lot of better products are available in the market if you want to try!

  1. I will say that I think if you apply it to your dry scalp ONLY, it helps with two things – gaining hair length and calming the scalp (if you have a sensitive scalp).

I don’t think applying it on wet hair would be useful – as the water dries it might take some of the serum with it.

  2. Hey tanya.. I have used this product in the past. It was called something earlier. Biotique has named it wrong. It is not a serum. It is a water based hair tonic (just like shatone from shahnaz husain) which has to be applied only scalp and only dry scalp. Tht too everyday. I love the cooling sensation it provides in summers 🙂
