Maybelline sent me some really cute birthday gifts. I thought I’d share them with you. They sent a huge box that included an umbrella, a super cool planner, a coffee tumbler that says ‘born to rock’ and a vanity kit with some lovely makeup.
The vanity kit included a Colossal Kajal, Colossal Mascara, 2 Baby Lips Lip Balm, a cheeky color blush, and 2 lipsticks form their new Bold Matte Lip Color.
I am wearing the Maybelline Bold Matte lipstick (Rs 375) in orange one today. It’s sort of semi-sheer to buildable lip color. It is a semi matte lipstick. I was actually expecting a punch of super pigmented lip color but it is not. In a way I feel it’s good because for people who don’t like to wear very bright lip colors, they can start with this one. But I personally like a super bight mouth so I went all out to build up the color. It’s been almost 3 hours I have applied this lipstick and it’s still there. And it is not drying at all. The texture is a bit balmy.
And the cheeky color is very pigmented and soft. It is a peachy pink shade. Isn’t the packaging adorable? 🙂
