What it is: A collection of high-impact lipsticks in dimensional shades that have been handcrafted to deliver extreme moisture, soft texture, and creamy wear.

What it does: Swipe on bold, creamy lip color with Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche. Created and crafted by hand, Bite’s small batch, low-heat process preserves a balanced blend of lip-quenching nutrients, vitamins, and omega oils that are essential for achieving healthy-looking lips. Made with 12 edible oils and triple milled pigments, this lipstick provides saturated lip color with weightless coverage and a citrus flavor made from fresh pressed fruit.

My Experience with Bite Beauty Gazpacho Amuse Bouche Lipstick:

The lipstick comes in grey bullet packaging just like other shades with citrus fragrance and close-shut curvy cap. I like the sleek, velvety and travel friendly packaging over all.

Coming over this smacking hot red “Gazpacho”, it is described as true blue red while it comes up as orange-red on my pale yellowish skin at times. Surprisingly with base makeup it looks a true blue based red on my skin, while at times on bare skin it tends to appear more on orange red tones; anyway I love wearing reds as long as it compliments my skin tone which it does really well with or without face makeup.
packaging

The texture and formula of this shade reminds me of “Radish”. It definitely imparts most hydrating and creamy yet light-weight finish to lips among all the shades you will see in this collection. It is still on heavier side in terms of coverage and texture and I won’t call it perfect creamy gel formula in feel or appearance. However it does not melt off easily even in hot humid conditions; it stays firm and stiff to give perfect finish all the time. It has that slippery creamy texture which easily slides on my normal/dry lips with no tugging and no sitting on my lip lines and/or dry patches.

It also feels bit more hydrating and comfortable creamy shine formula than “Persimmon”, “Verbena”. It easily forgives minor dryness and ageing lips as well. I am also impressed by its nearly full color payoff with smooth finish in just first swipe while I rarely use second swipe considering its heavy coverage and bit creamy formula; I use lip brush to contour lip edges. Needless to say it will work on every skin type and skin tone including dry pigmented lips.

Moreover it stays comfortable on my lips with no bleeding or feathering for good 7-8 hours thereby fading into soft sheen/stain after one heavy meal. It might require touch ups in between of mild snacking or water/tea break but even pursing lips together will impart saturated smooth finish for decent hours thereby. Considering summers around I find it a bit on the heavier side for my skin type and lips while I know this will be my go to shade for fall/winters. I might get it again for its smooth saturated finish and nearly 83% natural formula while I would recommend it to every fair/light/medium skin toned beauty.
