Black Radiance Fine Line Liquid Eyeliner

Hello IMBB friends…

I just realized that my black liquid liner has been with me for almost 2 years. Isn’t that risky. How long do you keep a makeup product with you? Do you always follow the storage rules? I finally chucked it in the bin and got myself a new one. This time I saw many different brands in a drugstore and thought I would experiment more with makeup. Almost all brands have come up with their summer collections and we all know how much us IMBB-ians love to try new stuff. Do you gals do that?

Black Radiance says: Defines eye with a flawlessly clean line. The soft felt tip provides precise contouring in just one stroke. For well defined eyes that last all day, apply a thin delicate line. For a more dramatic look, go bold with a thicker line. Fine tip precision applicator allows perfect execution of ink to contour thick or thin lines like a pro. Creates perfectly muted lines without friction or tugging.

Cost: $4

Availability : All drugstores

Shade : C6405 Fine Black.

My take on Black Radiance Fine Line Liquid Eyeliner:

Black eyeliner has been an integral part of my makeup and honestly, if I can use one thing my entire life, it will be a black eyeliner. I cannot live without kohl or a liner, you can say it is my weakness! This product comes in a really tiny bottle with a long tapered screw top. It has BR written in gold lettering. The tip is very thin pointed brush and it glides wonderfully on the lid. It comes in three fast-drying colors that won’t flake. I am happy that it is not a felt tip because I cannot work with those without ruining them. LOL. The product is really pigmented and applies evenly in one stroke. I like the fact that I can draw a cat eye or Arabic style liner with this. Absolutely easy to work with and no mess!

The fibers of the brush don’t scatter and thus you get one even line. One can get thick or thin line with this without going in the tub multiple times. The brush makes it easier to get in the inner corner of the lids and very close to the lash line. One thing I noticed is : once I apply it, I have to keep my eyes closed for a few seconds to let it dry completely or it smudges. But once it dries, it sets for a whole day come wind or shine. I live in a very humid city and it works fabulous on me with and without applying a primer.

As they instructed: I Shake the bottle well (there is something inside that rattles).I Hold the eyeliner at a slight angle and apply close to the base of lashes. I use a light touch for fine lashes or a firmer touch for bolder lashes.

Cons of Black Radiance Fine Line Liquid Eyeliner:

– They should come up with more shades : like greens/browns etc

Verdict: I’ll give it 4/5. It is a great budget buy.

Repurchase : I will totally repurchase it. I am planning to get more shades from this range 🙂
