Lipsticks are my favorite makeup products and I wear a lot of lipsticks all the time. No wonder then that I need to ensure that my lips are not chapped or flaky. I used to exfoliate them before, but when I saw this tool, I just knew that I had to get it. The tool is Bliss Fabulips Pout-o-matic spa-powered lip-perfecting system. My Experience with Bliss Fabulips Pout-o-matic Spa-Powered Lip-Perfecting System:

Packaging:  The kit contains the Pout-o-matic tool and the Fabulips Sugar lip scrub. Also, included are a protective cover for the scrub head, an extra scrub head, and AAA battery. The Pout-o-matic tool is quite sleek and lightweight. It resembles a battery-powered toothbrush. Getting the battery in the first time was a bit of a struggle as it is not quite intuitive that the end has to be twisted off. But no big deal!

The scrub head is made of soft flexible rubber and has little nubs on it. The scrub head spins at the rate of 450 rotations per minute.

The Fabulips Sugar lip scrub is also sold separately and has been already reviewed on IMBB.

Performance:  As directed, I apply a thin layer of the Fabulips scrub over my lips and then move the Pout-o-matic tool across my upper and lower lips while moving the tool in a circular motion. I do this for around 30 seconds. Once done, I wipe off the remaining scrub from my lips and clean the scrub head with a damp cloth as directed.

When I had first used this tool, I thought that it is a bit too gentle, but I guess that is exactly the point. You probably do yourself more harm when you scrub using a toothbrush. This tool does the job of exfoliation much more gently and leaves your lips smooth and soft. Bye-bye dryness and flakes!!

Now that I have been using this tool regularly for a few weeks, I can say that it definitely makes your lips smooth and soft making your lipsticks go on more evenly and look good. The massaging makes the lips look super healthy. But it is definitely pricey at $48. It is nothing that you can’t live without but a good buy if you are in the mood to splurge.

It is a wonderful tool to possess, but definitely expensive; so if I would recommend only if you are into using such tools.
