Blithe Crystal Iceplant Pressed Serum Review

Skin Type: Oily-sensitive, tending to combination and acne prone

Hello friends,

Happy Shri Krishan Janamashtami to everyone! I remember preparing panjiri prasaad and offering henna, holy thread to lord Krishna on the day of Ashtami. Not to forget, spectacular pretend plays aka “jhankis” depicting lord Krishna’s life story in temples and stalls everywhere. Those were the days when we were happy with empty pockets but full hearts! Anyway, I am here to share a Korean skin care product with you all which proved a savior for my skin during my last trip. No wonder Korean brands are all over the market nowadays and I am sure soon “Blithe” will be one of the best-selling Korean brands. Read on for more details on Blithe Crystal Iceplant Pressed Serum!

Product Description:
An anti-polluaging serum and moisturizer hybrid, this formula is packed with 63 percent ice plant extract, which provides lasting hydration and nourishment without heaviness.  Solutions for dryness, dullness, and uneven texture.

My Experience with Blithe Crystal Iceplant Pressed Serum:

This serum hydrator comes in a sturdy, pale green glass tub packaging with twist-over cap with additional safety lid inside. It does have a mild herbal smell which subsides soon after applying serum onto the skin. Personally, I am not a fan of tub packaging, but considering the results this serum showed on my skin, I can certainly live with it. Thankfully, they do provide a plastic spatula to scoop out the product.

The serum-cum-moisturizer is a pale green gel which appears colorless on the skin. It is certainly rich in texture and intense and feels lightweight unlike most other hydrating moisturizers, hence a win-win product for people like me who have combination skin type. Blithe Crystal Iceplant Serum works best for my face as it hydrates my dry cheeks while also taking care of oily skin. It feels like a burst of hydration as a little drop of serum spreads effortlessly on the skin leaving it dewy and hydrated. This also explains why it is ideal for every skin type as it has a rich and intense formula that provides immediate flush of hydration to wilted and dry skin without sitting on top of the skin or aggravating skin concerns. It’s way lighter on my skin and does not clog pores as I have not noticed breaks outs ever since I switched to this serum in my regular night-time regimen, though it is normal for me to see one or two zits here and there. Moreover, I can definitely feel the difference of using this hydrating gel serum on my skin from day 1 as it instantly cleared away dry and scaly patches on my skin thereby giving my complexion an even texture. It gets down deep into the skin and clears away dry patches making the skin softer, smoother, and healthier. Not to forget it does take care of open large pores really well, making them appear visibly smaller without aggravating oil glands.

I had talked about the after-effects of wandering under the sun during my last trip and this serum alone helped me combat sunburn, dryness and environmental damage. I suffered severe dryness on cheeks because of prolonged sun exposure and usage of matte makeup sprays while my skin looked dull and uneven, but thanks to this hydrating serum, it simply changed my skin from being worst to best in just 2-3 days. The best part is that it goes absolutely fine under makeup; in fact, I feel my makeup appears more seamless and natural whenever I wear this serum beneath my makeup. It is totally different from the earlier serum that I had used.

This lightweight soothing, cooling gel pacifies my acne-prone skin without accentuating dryness or oily skin concerns further. I had no idea that I would ever feel the need to use this hydrating serum in such a humid and hot weather, but blame it to my 30s skin and hormones, I am dealing with the worst skin concerns these days. I think this serum is a blessing for people like me with combination skin type. I would definitely recommend it to all skin types including with acne-prone skin type. I would definitely like to have this hg moisturizer aka serum in my kit till I get something similar at a lower price range which I think is nearly impossible.
