Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Brightening Lotion Review

Hello ladies!

I saw this one online and I took it for a body lotion, thanks to the name ‘lotion’! I ordered it with a whole bunch of expectations from the ‘brightening’ claims and thoughts like “I’ll use this instead of Vaseline Healthy White“, “Yes, it’ll definitely remove my tan”!! But, it turns out to be something like a toner, and when I received the package, the bottle was a mess and all leaky. So, let’s see if this was a hit or a miss!

My Experience with Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Brightening Lotion:

Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Brightening Lotion Review1

The packaging is not at all good. Maybe my bottle is defective, but still it is a disappointment! The ‘lotion’ comes in a normal plastic bottle with a cap. The mouth of the bottle was actually sealed, but that did not do anything to stop it from leaking. The product was all over the bottle and the cute pink sticker now looks awful! I guess, on that note, it is not travel-friendly.

The lotion is colorless. It does not have any significant smell to it either. The instructions suggest using it with their Tan Removing Milk Pack that I did not purchase, thinking it to be an actual lotion. So, I kind of use this as a toner after cleansing. I also tried using it with a face pack and it worked well.

As a toner, it does make the skin feel a little sticky. I have been using this for a week now and I have noticed that it has slightly lightened the tan on my face. My skin sure is behaving well since the day I have been using it. I would consider using this on my severely tanned arms too. I have a love-hate relationship with this product. I seem to love it because it is working well as a toner and the ingredients are good too.

I just hate it for the fact that I was expecting an actual lotion and I feel I was mislead; it is also not very good to look at either. Well, this is not a product that I’d brag about; did nothing miraculous. Not a hit for me!

Pros of Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Brightening Lotion:

• Good ingredient list
• Works pretty well as a toner
• Can be mixed with face packs and it works fine
• It has slightly lightened the tan
• Colorless and odourless
• My skin is behaving well after I started using this
• Affordable price tag

Cons of Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Brightening Lotion:

• The biggest con is that it is named ‘lotion’ which was misleading
• Packaging is bad. My bottle was leaking all over and created a mess
• As a toner, it makes the skin sticky; though it is not advised to be used as one

IMBB Rating:
3/5

  1. Seems like a decent product if it removes tan even a bit, we can always forgive the misleading name. I too have received leaked products at times. :/
