Bobbi Brown gel Liner Cavier Ink
Bobbi Brown Long Stay gel eyeLiner (Caviar Ink) : This award-winning liner gives you the look of liquid liner with the ease & feel of a gel formula. Long-wearing, water-resistant color glides on & let’s you get it just right before it dries – then stays without a smear or crease. Awarded “Elle” Magazines’ ‘Top 5’ (2009) & The Knot Beauty Awards (2010).

To apply: Dip tip of Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush (coat both sides of brush head). Wipe off excess before applying to eye. Work quickly as product becomes transfer-resistant once dry. To remove, use Instant Long-Wear Makeup Remover.

Price : Rs 1000 approx

This is THE best Gel eyeliner I have ever used.

Bobbi Brown gel Liner Cavier Ink

What I like about Bobbi brown Gel Eyeliner:

  • The shade caviar ink is very unique. It’s neither super black nor it is not brown. So neither it looks too soft nor too harsh..Just perfect and I love it.
  • The formula is creamy and it glides on your lids like a dream.
  • The eyeliner stays on until you remove it. It is smudge proof, water proof and stays all day long.
  • After applying, I can smudge it a little to create  a soft smudged effect or just draw a fine line with it. Works great always.
  • You can use this gel eyeliner as a base all over your lids and your lids wouldn’t feel uncomfortable or drying.
  • The eyeliner doesn’t dry too fast in the pot. I have been using it for almost 5 months now and it is still creamy and easy to use.
  • Bobbi grown Gel eyeliner doesn’t chip or feather during the day.
  • I don’t use this eyeliner on my water line so I have not face any irritation or burning sensation so far.
  • I mostly take out a little liner with a clean brush at the back of my hand and then work with it.
  • The eyeliner is nicely pigmented.
  • The liner doesn’t have funny smell to it.
  • It comes out with an oil based cleanser easily without tugging your pulling your eye lids.

Bobbi Brown gel Liner Cavier Ink

What I don’t like about Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner:

  • The fact that it is not available in India. :((

I would recommend this liner to everyone . This is one of my most favourite product from all the Bobbi brown products I own.

Following are the swatches of Caviar Ink.

You may check out how this eyeliner looks on my eyes my following tutorials:

Indian Makeup and Beauty Blog Rating : :-* :-* :-* :-* I would have given it full 5 points but since it is not available in India it is a huge drawback for me so I am cutting one full point for it..

I bought so much in bangkok that I didn’t even bother asking Ka if I can get this 😛

maybe in a month or two I can pick up one or two in france itself :))

Rati January 15, 2011 at 11:12 am

he he he he..hope you like it. :)) What all did you pick?

Reply

ki January 15, 2011 at 11:15 am

I got nars blushes – taj mahal and exhibit a, shu’s eyelash curler, etude house cleansing oil and cheek tint, nars casino bronzer, bobbi brown pot rouge… 😛 I also picked up backups of lancome bi facil and maybelline falsies mascara :yahoo: I had a budget of 10k just for makeup – I squeezed every drop  :secret2:

Reply

Rati January 15, 2011 at 11:19 am

That’s awesome!! :yahoo: :yahoo: How you finding the pot rouge…it is working fine for me in winters..during summer time it used to look as if I have applied some oil on my face.

Reply

ki January 15, 2011 at 11:35 am

I’m liking it a lot right now – chennai weather is cool, not too hot not too cold so it’s nice and dewy… summer mein dekhte hain! Although even in bangkok’s humid 30 degrees, it was nice :))

but nothing to beat the smootheness, pigmentation, blendability of nars!!! :victory2: :victory2: :victory2:

Reply

Rati January 15, 2011 at 11:37 am

I know, I reach for nars blush a lot.. It’s just no brainer and you cannot go wrong with it.. I hope at least nars should start an online shipping for us. :((

How does it compare with the beloved fluidlines ???

Reply

Rati January 15, 2011 at 11:53 am

IT is battarrr than fluidline.. More creamy and easy to use. :smug: :smug: :smug: Okay i’ll specify :-*

Reply

Priya January 15, 2011 at 12:08 pm

me had the same question…how battarrr ?? 😉 :yelo:

Reply

Rati January 15, 2011 at 12:12 pm

It’s creamier and it lasts longer than fluidline..My fluidline dried within 3 months and this is just the same even after 5 months..but that could be personal experience as well. the main difference i feel is that it is creamier than fluidline and glides more easily.

Reply

Priya January 15, 2011 at 12:16 pm

ok….my fluidline looks to drying…and its been 2 mths now….i better buy that duraline….

Shilpa, the shade is deep black -brown only and there is no problem with the pics. It’s not stark black so it doesn’t looks very harsh even during day time. :))
