Lotions alone won’t be much effective towards lightening blemishes. What is the reason behind those blemishes? If its acne, then you gotta get rid of the acne first. Regular scrubbing (provided the acne has subsided) helps a lot in getting rid of blemishes. Pure almond oil is more effective than any lotion to get rid of blemishes but then again, you can’t use it if you have acne.
